Float to the edge of the 500-foot infinity dip and look down at Singapore from 57 floors above. If you're not one for heights, snag a plush poolside lounger along the palm tree-dotted sundeck. We won't judge.

Set along Sydney's famous Bondi Beach, this olympic-sized lap pool takes the term "seaside" to an extreme. Dive in and feel the ocean's salt water spray as the turquoise waves crash against the edge. The best part? The pool is open to the public, so you don't need to be a superstar to swim here.

This opulent Indian oasis knows how to make a first impression. Imagine 30 acres of manicured gardens with a wraparound pool as the centerpiece that's surrounded by intricate turrets, domes and archways. If you're looking for total privacy, book a suite with butler service and your own pool overlooking Lake Pichola's two islands and marble palaces.

Just when we thought the City of Gold couldn't be any more over-the-top, the new St Regis, The Palm slays expectations. Opening in 2018, the luxury hotel will showcase a sprawling infinity pool on its 50th floor that wraps around all four sides of the tower and overlooks the Arabian Gulf from 700 feet in the air. Talk about Instagram gold.

High above Bali’s tropical forest, the bi-level infinity pool at Hanging Gardens is about as scenic as it gets. (In fact, it's the most photographed pool in the world.) With bamboo trees and lush greenery all around, it's not hard to see why.

Caution: This glass-bottomed pool is not for the faint of heart. Suspended 10 stories up, the 90-foot dip connects two luxury apartment complexes in London's new Nine Elms quarter. (It's the first pool in the world to bridge buildings!) Go for a plunge, if you dare. Just don't look down.

London's smaller sister city is quickly making a name for itself on the spa scene. Check into the just-opened King Street Townhouse and bliss out at its rooftop infinity pool (the only one in town). Here you'll find a tranquil waterfall and spot-on vistas of the clock tower and gothic spires.

At the hip Joule hotel in Dallas, you can actually swim off the building (no joke!). The rooftop pool is cantilevered eight feet out from the side of the hotel, and those brave enough to peer over the glass-fronted edge can wave to people below. It gives new meaning to a bird's-eye view, if you know what we mean.
