“I thought for sure Glossier’s new Future Dew wouldn’t be for me—my skin gets pretty oily, so I was wary of adding more shine. But after stealing my roommate’s for a few weeks, I decided I needed to pick up my own. My skin has never looked better and stays hydrated and dewy all day! I’m also going to grab the newest Todd Snyder x Timex release to add to my ever-growing watch collection. I don’t have one with a metal band yet, so this will be the perfect addition. The last thing I’m getting this month is this striped sweater from J.Crew that will easily transition from winter to spring.”

“I’ve been busy stocking up on cold-weather staples before the seasonal shift and have my eyes on this cropped turtleneck, which comes in a luxuriously dark shade of green. Speaking of green, one of my resolutions this year is to cut back on packaging and start growing my own veggies. I gifted a Smart Garden for the holidays and am considering getting one myself—it’s like having your own farm without paying for the backyard! Also, is the combat boot look still in? Whatever, these Docs with brogue detailing are calling my name.”

“I’m heading to Palm Springs this month, and I am so ready for sunshine, canyon hikes, and poolside drinks. I plan on spending a lot of time outside, so I’m picking up this cute packable hat by Hat Attack for some extra sun protection. I’m also bringing along my new skincare obsession: K-beauty brand Erborian’s ginseg BB cream. It’s light but provides great coverage, and the SPF 20 is perfect for everyday wear during the winter. This month I also treated myself to this little wool tote bag by Lauren Manoogian. I thought it was so cute and stylish, plus it’ll easily roll up and fit into my suitcase for my next vacation.”

“My favorite (formerly) white Stan Smith sneakers are now a solid shade of gray after years of use, so it’s about time I pick up some fresh kicks. I’m absolutely obsessed with Cole Haan’s new GrandPrø Rally Sneaker—it’s so lightweight and the red-orange heel adds a fun pop of color to any ‘fit. (Pro tip: Cole Haan also makes the absolute best liner socks to go with them.) Another thing I’m all about this month: Populum CBD. I’ve written about the benefits of CBD before, and I’m still a big fan of taking it in capsule form when I’m feeling anxious. Populum is a newer brand on the market, and it guarantees the highest quality through its partnerships with local US farmers and rigorous testing practices. Finally, I’m in need of some loungewear this month, and Richer Poorer is my go-to for comfy tees. I love the faded blue color of this pigment-dyed, relaxed-fit long-sleeve.”

“I’m headed to Florida in a couple of weeks and have been on the hunt for a great red lipstick for some night events. This new shade from Gucci Beauty is perfect! I’m also loving these Re/Done sneakers in leather and suede. They’re very retro and will go great with my favorite pair of jeans.”

“I’m always looking for new ways to better myself when it comes to single-use plastics. We have a couple metal straws I use religiously at home, but none that feel easy to bring on the go. That’s why I’m excited to purchase this collapsible metal straw that can hook onto my house keys—it’ll be a simple green option for my iced coffees and smoothies. And then there are my leftovers. Whenever I order Chinese (which is admittedly about once a week), I find myself saving the containers for lunch during the weekdays. When I get to work, something almost always spills out into my bag causing a horrendous, smelly mess. I’m 100% ready to snag this seal-tight bowl from W&P to finally keep my food where it should be. Lastly, I’m still upset that Lana del Rey was robbed of the Grammy for Album of the Year. I listen to Norman Fucking Rockwell! every single day and the music just ages like wine. I’m ready to buy it on vinyl because I know with Lana’s incredible sound and lyricism, the album is meant to be heard this way.”

“This month, I’m really ramping up my mid-winter self-care. After searching the internet for reviews of bathrobes, I settled on this cozy cotton honeycomb one from Snowe. I tend to like things with texture (hello, linen sheets) and this fits the bill and is perfect for winter evenings at home. I also ordered this Nécessaire body wash after seeing a dozen posts about it on Instagram. It’s pricey, so I don’t know if I’ll be a repeat purchaser, but the Sandalwood scent reminds me a little of Le Labo’s Santal 33, which I love, so it was worth the indulgence. Finally, I’m taking myself out of town to enjoy some sunshine on a girls’ trip to Miami, so I ordered this fun palm-tree print bikini to pack in my carry-on.”

“I’ve always loved taking pictures on my old-school DSLR camera that I bought more than 12 years ago, but I feel like as time passes, the bulkier it feels and the heavier it becomes. Aside from having to lug it around throughout my travels, I’d also have to wait until I got home to transfer my photos from the memory card to my computer. I just purchased this wifi-enabled digital camera from Sony that connects to my iPhone, and now I can share photos easily and on-the-go. One of my favorite features of this much-smaller point-and-shoot camera is that the LED display flips up so you can see what your selfies look like before you snap—a great feature for vlogging! I’ve also been on the search for a packable straw hat for my upcoming trips this year (San Juan, PR; Naples, FL; Sorrento in the Amalfi Coast, and Cefalù in Sicily, to name a few) and I knew I needed something lightweight that would save my Irish skin from the sun. I love that this straw hat can roll up nicely in my luggage without the shape getting damaged and I can swap out the black band with different scarves to help play off my outfits. The best part? SPF 50+ sun protection.”

“The big buzz in the beauty world these days seems to be Maelove’s Glow Maker serum, and I’m oddly excited to try it. I’ve heard rave reviews comparing it to SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic, but it’s about a third of the price! I’ve also been in need of new sheets. I like them plain and crisp, but instead of white, which I normally opt for, I’m going with this subtle blush color.  Finally, I’m re-stocking my fave Teakwood & Tobacco-scented candle from P.F. Candle Co. This scent is my go-to, but I’ve also been dying to give the Sandalwood Rose version a try.”
