JS Editors’ Favorite Things: Tyler Schoeber, Production Specialist
Here at Jetsetter, our editors are always on top of what's new and cool, whether it's an exciting beauty product launch, a hip fashion label, the best tech and home goods, or a must-try wellness trend. In our Editors' Favorites series, we're bringing all of that to you—the things worth the buy, straight from the editors themselves. Next up, Tyler Schoeber, our production specialist, on all of his favorite things right now.
The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
I’m relatively new to The Ordinary, but my friend recommended this vitamin and mineral blemish formula to me after it did wonders for her skin. I’m prone to pretty painful acne, and after only one use, I noticed a definite difference on my face. I’m excited to keep using this stuff and see more results!
Brooklinen Sheets
I’m always a little wary of ads on the subway, but after reading so much about these sheets, I caved and finally gave them a try. I haven’t had a better night’s sleep in my life.
Know My Name: A Memoir by Chanel Miller
I’m picking up some new books this fall, and at the top of my list is Chanel Miller’s just-released memoir. Previously known to America as only “Emily Doe” and the victim of a shocking sexual assault case, Miller has revealed her name to reclaim her identity and illuminate her courageous story. I already know this book will be an important read for everyone.
Downeast Pumpkin Cider
Last fall, I visited my cousin in Boston and we basically lived on Downeast Pumpkin Cider for a whole weekend. I’ve been craving it ever since but have yet to find anywhere in New York that carries it. I’m truly willing to donate an arm or a leg for it to be stocked here, but for now I’ll have to keep using Drizly.
Polaroid Snap Instant Digital Camera
Once upon a time, I was a photography major, but I haven’t really done anything photo-wise (aside from a casual Instagram or two) since I graduated. To get back into the swing of things, I’ve been bringing my Polaroid around when I’m out on the town. While it might not put me in the MoMA, it could act as a decent lead-up. 😉
ASOS Oversized Scarf
ASOS is my go-to for fashion—the store has a seemingly endless selection of clothes. This oversized scarf is on my list of items to purchase ASAP for the fall. I cannot wait to wrap myself in it in the office.

Lafco New York Gardenia Candle
Okay, I know it’s not the most autumnal of scents, but I’ll go ahead and confidently say that gardenia is the best fragrance that exists and no one can tell me otherwise. My mom loves the smell and hooked my brother and I on it before we moved out. Now, the scent reminds me of home and helps my place feel fresh and clean—even when it’s not.
Baxton Studio Kitchen Cart
I recently decided to get an Amazon Prime Rewards Card and it might have been one of my best decisions to date—simply because when you sign up, you automatically get a $70 gift card to Amazon. I’m weighing all my possibilities, but when I say I NEED this kitchen cart like I’ve never needed anything else before, I mean it. There are so many functionalities and storage options! Is this what being an adult is like?
Cole Haan ZERØGRAND Hiker Boot
I only have one pair of boots in my closet right now, and they’re on their last limb. (By that I mean the sole is coming off and you can visibly see the heel of my foot.) With that being said, it’s obviously time for a new pair. I love these ones from Cole Haan—they’re water-resistant, durable, and exactly my style.

Life of Adventure Iron-On Patch
Though the only trip I have left this year is one to South Carolina to visit family, I’ve fulfilled my wanderlust for the time being by snagging this cute patch to stick on my backpack.
Warby Parker Watts Glasses
I really need to start wearing my glasses, but the only pair I have now is so not my style, and the prescription is way off. I plan on starting fresh with a new pair from Warby Parker. The website’s selection is massive, and I love the look of these ones.
World Map
I’m a bit of a geography nerd (I can actually name every country!), and I recently bought this wall map to hang over my bed. It was super affordable and will look cool when arranged with the art I already have hanging on my walls.
The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash
I love the way this face wash from The Body Shop makes my skin feel. Plus, it’s 100% vegan! (Not that I’m vegan—I love cheese—but it makes me feel better about myself knowing my face wash is.)
Concert Tickets from Stubhub
Now that festival season has come to an end, I need to fill the void with a concert or two before the new year. I have tickets to see Kim Petras in November and I’m super stoked to see her live.
Mango Wool Tailored Coat
Wool is one of my favorite materials—it’s just super timeless. I’m due for a new coat and I’m loving this long design from Mango.
The Woman in the Window: A Novel by A.J. Finn
I’ve persuaded four different friends to read this book because I was that impressed with it. Witty yet suspenseful, the entirety of the story leaves you on your toes as you flip the pages. It’s being made into a movie that comes out in the spring, so I’m excited to see how it compares.
Superpower Teas Sachet Tea Wheel
I’ve been on a bit of a tea kick lately, and this wheel looks like a great way to try out some new flavors, while also letting me look like a pretty good host when I have guests.
