5 Trips Where Kim K and T Swift Can Kiss and Make Up
If you’ve been on the internet this week, then you know there’s major beef between Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift. If you live under a rock, however, and missed the whole thing, take a seat and we’ll explain.
A Brooklyn-based writer and editor, Chelsea's work has appeared in Matador Network, The Huffington Post, the TripAdvisor blog, and more. When not planning her next trip, you'll usually find her drinking way too much iced coffee (always iced—she’s from New England) or bingeing a Netflix original series.
The Fiery Feud in a Nutshell:
Former buds Taylor Swift and Kanye West butted heads yet again this April when the rapper dropped his new single, “Famous.” The song made reference to a previous turbulent moment in their relationship – way back in 2009 – when West interrupted Swift’s VMA acceptance speech to spout the now-famous “Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you and I’mma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!"
While the two effectively squashed that beef, West is back at it. In his new track, he calls out Swift with the less-than-flattering line, “I made that b*tch famous.” Taking offense to the lyric and the fact that West insists she approved of it via a phone call, Swift publicly stated that West had never called her. Meanwhile, Kim K’s husband added fuel to the fire saying that not only did he call her, but that she thought it was funny and was totally behind it.
The back and forth continued at this year’s Grammys when Swift took home Album of the Year, and used her speech as a platform to yet again publicly comment on the matter, saying, "As the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there, there will be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame."
But it doesn’t stop there. Cue Kim K’s foray into the fight. Kardashian’s recent GQ interview had her defending her hubby’s honor, insisting that there was video evidence of the West-Swift convo that the songstress had so adamantly denied. So naturally, Kardashian took that to Snapchat for the world to see (and judge).
So where it stands now, Swift has backtracked quite a bit, saying she never heard the full song or the exact “that b*tch” callout, so she couldn’t have possibly approved. She took to Instagram to tell fans they were only getting one side of the story, so for now, the real truth is up in the air.
Given all the bad blood, we thought we’d offer a few girls getaways where Kim and Tay can kiss and makeup.

Retail Therapy in Paris
Money’s no object for Kiki and Tay, making re-solidifying a friendship over the latest collections at Yves Saint Laurent, Céline, and Chanel a total reality. Diamonds are a girl’s (and especially a cash-strapped celeb's) best friend, after all – so maybe adding a couple to their collection could help them mend?

Yachting around Saint-Tropez
How could you be mad on a privately chartered yacht cruising through Cote D’Azur waters? Just picture it: Popping bottles of Moët & Chandon, sprawling out on sun-drenched daybeds and nibbling on delicate, low-cal hors d'oeuvres. The pair’s instas might actually break the internet.

Yoga Retreat in Bora Bora
A little zen could go a long way for Kim and Tay (as could limited internet access – primarily looking at you, Kim). After finding inner peace in their Lululemon and matching Yeezy 350s, a ceasefire might just be possible.

Cliff Jumping in Oahu
What better way to prove your renewed trust in someone than to jump hand in hand from a cliff? Following a hike up to their oceanside spot of choice, the thought of their impending free-fall might be enough to get them to hug it out.

Booze Crawl through New Orleans
Ok, so Kim and Tay aren't big drinkers, but with a few cocktails in their systems and a night out in NOLA, they might just be able to throw everything on the table and see the light at the end of this fierce rivalry.
