You Can Now Go Glamping in the Middle of the New York Harbor
We can't deny the appeal of Wyoming and Colorado, but glamping in the heart of the New York Harbor? Well, that sounds pretty damn great, too. This summer, we plan on doing just that.

We doubt the thought has ever crossed your mind. Glamping in the middle of the New York Harbor?! Well, this is your chance, people. Just a ten minute ferry ride from Lower Manhattan, Collective Retreats is set to debut a luxe camping ground on Governors Island this May. The spacious tents are scattered across 6 acres, each with plush king- or double-sized beds (covered in 1000-thread-count sheets and Pendleton blankets), teak wood floors, and top-of-the-line bathroom amenities. For a splurge, book a “luxury tent,” complete with en-suite bathroom and private deck. There are plenty of boardgames, books, booze and food to keep you entertained onsite, plus you’ve got the entire park to explore, not to mention knockout views of the New York Skyline. Just imagine sleeping under the stars with a lit up Lady Liberty as your backdrop.
