Return of the Cardigan

Tucked behind last year’s favorite turtleneck and pullover sweaters, we’re guessing you have an old cardigan in the depths of your closet. Pull it out, and put it on. The classic style is reinventing itself this fall, especially in cropped lengths and worn without layers underneath. For a more conservative look, the trend also works layered atop a turtleneck, or buttoned up and tucked into a high-waisted skirt or jeans.

A Style Superhero

Capes dominated the runways as the outerwear of choice this season, and we’re loving their cozy vibe. While we admit they’re not always the most practical option for everyday wear, you simply can’t deny the elegance factor.

Say Moo

Yep, you heard us right—cow is the animal print du jour. Last season, it felt like every person on the street was wearing some form of leopard, tiger, or snake pattern. (Okay, and every third person was wearing the same exact leopard midi skirt.) Now, the style set is introducing a fresh spin with this dairy-fied version.

Suit Up

The power suit is going through a revival, and this isn’t your typical ‘80s throwback. In 2019, we’re upping the ante with more prints, textures, colors, and silhouettes than ever before—and with more places to go. These sets aren’t just for the workplace; you can rock them on date night, to brunch, or even to a wedding.

Fasten Your Belt (Bags)

Fanny packs and belt bags remain one of the trendiest ways to transport your things this season. Whether you go with sleek leather or a sportier pick, you’ll be hands-free and stylish.

Queen B

Hey, Upper East Siders—the biggest trend to come out of Gossip Girl is back with a vengeance this season (maybe because of the show’s impending revival). Blair Waldorf’s signature headbands are cropping up everywhere, and we’re happy to reunite with the once-beloved look.
