Mirbeau Inn & Spa at The Pinehills
The inspiration for the architecture of Mirbeau Inn & Spa at the Pinehills was taken from Impressionist master Claude Monet’s country house in Giverny, France. French instrumental music plays outdoors as visitors take in the impressive three-story, red-shuttered stucco building. The guests keep their voices low, and the hallways, lined with framed prints of Monet’s work, are long and quiet. The interiors, which include custom furniture and fabrics throughout, were designed by Linda Dower (who co-owns the hotel with her husband Gary) and Westley Spruill of Boston-based Deeson Design. more...
