There’s something special about this hushed little Moroccan hideaway. Perhaps it’s the buildings themselves, a series of 1920s and 30s bungalows built by a Scottish painter who had lived in Tangiers. Perhaps it’s the illustrious history—Errol Flynn sunned himself by the pool, Rudolph Valentino seduced his second wife and Churchill practiced painting in one of its lofty rooms.
