The four-story, 52-room Harbourview Inn sits along quaint Vendue Range Street, a stone’s throw from Waterfront Park and its long pier, which juts into Charleston Harbor. The property is housed in an airy red brick building from the 1830s that used to be a cotton warehouse, as well as an adjoining contemporary building, and is all about classic Charleston style, with arched windows, elegant architectural details and a gracious staff. The 52 guestrooms are spacious, with 14-foot ceilings and tall windows; each is furnished with one or two four-poster beds with soft triple sheeting and a sturdy, custom-made armoire.
