Auberge Saint-Antoine
Three 18th-century buildings and a 17th-century wharf on the St. Lawrence have been transformed into one of Quebec City’s chicest boutique hotels. While it maintains its historical charm, including lofted ceilings, exposed wood beams and even a collection of artifacts unearthed during renovation, the hotel is decidedly modern, blending sleek décor with dark, natural hues. All 95 guestrooms and suites are supremely cozy and many have fireplaces and terraces overlooking the river. Bathrooms are large, with heated floors and massive soaking tubs. Panache is a cherished reservation to savor Chef Louis Pacquelin’s locally sourced organic fare. more...
