Aries

Your travel horoscope: You’re an adventurous sort with daredevil impulses and a knack for heart-pounding adventures. And sure, you could always go sky-diving or bungee-jumping, but why not opt for a once-in-a-lifetime trip instead? Like a safari in South Africa’s Sabi Sands Game Reserve. Stay at the iconic Cecile & Boyd-designed Singita Ebony Lodge, and you’ll have your pick of high-octane activities, from archery lessons to game drives and guided walks (on which you’ll spot lions, giraffes and elephants). Less active Aries can skip out on the outdoor pursuits and take in the wild scenery from their luxe guestrooms, which have heated private swimming pools and outdoor pavilion decks that look out over the banks of the Sand River.

Taurus

The Taurus is a hedonist with a taste for the finer things in life. You seek peace, indulgence and immersion in nature, and when it comes to a vacation, you don’t intend on ‘roughing it’ (or lifting a finger, for that matter). Enter Solage Calistoga—a 25-acre Napa Valley resort with 89 intimate bungalows, a Michelin-starred Solbar restaurant, and pampering amenities galore. Sign up for wine tastings, go for a dip in the 130-foot swimming pool, or book one of the spa’s signature mud and mineral water treatments. Here, it’s all about rest and relaxation, and the 89 Italian-style guestrooms practically invite it with their sumptuous décor (think: buttery leather chairs, pillowy beds) and vineyard views.

Gemini

Gemini is ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication, so it’s no wonder you crave socialization and constant discovery from your travels. You’ll be no more in your element than in Tulum, where nature, fashion, nightlife and world-class dining combine for an undeniably sceney stay. A-listers make Coqui Coqui (the limestone hotel owned by international male model, Nicolas Malleville) their home base, but if you’d prefer to be closer to some of the area’s major attraction, you can’t do better than Zamas—a collection of palapa-roofed cabanas on an unspoilt beach within Tulum National Park. Explore the nearby Mayan ruins, go snorkeling around the shipwreck 60 feet offshore, then sip on frozen margs and mingle with locals at Ahau Tulum, a buzzy bar owned by a couple of Burning Man founders.

Cancer

A home-body, you prefer staycations and daytrips to ambitious, far-flung travel. But at the Hasbrouck House—a bucolic Hudson Valley stay with major country charm—you won’t have to sacrifice novelty for comfort. Set in a restored 1757 Dutch Colonial stone mansion, the property is comprised of 17 suites featuring curated art works, goose-down duvets and natural gas fireplaces—plus accompanying carriage and stable houses. Sleep in and indulge in a breakfast biscuit sandwich with a frothy cappuccino at one-site restaurant Butterfield, then curl up with a great read on the bluestone patio. Or, set out to explore the some 150 rolling acres at your doorstep.

Leo

With their big personalities and dramatic flair, Leos are drawn to global cities associated with royalty and over-the-top luxury. London and Monaco are natural fits, but for more of a one-of-a-kind experience, consider embarking on a journey through Egypt’s ancient marvels. Start in Cairo and check into the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza, where you’ll be treated to resplendent Art Deco-style interiors, eight bars and restaurants, and three swimming pools. Tour the opulent Mohamad Ali Mosque and the Mosque of Sultan Hassan, one of the largest of its kind in the world, or go for the classic Giza itinerary and see the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus, and the famed Sphinx. For a royal treatment fit for a king, head to Cairo’s Dok-Dok landing and get a boatman to sail you along the Nile as the sun sets.

Virgo

The Virgo is an intellectual with an insatiable appetite for knowledge and personal enrichment. Your ideal getaway? Rome, with its famed monuments and galleries, medieval piazzas, art-rich churches and historic streets. Because Virgo’s are more conservative with their spending, you’ll want to check into a budget-friendly stay like the Rome Times Hotel, a contemporary crash pad near the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. After touring those landmarks, find out if you have what it takes to be an ancient Roman gladiator at Roman Gladiator School, where you’ll learn the moves of the ancient fighters. Or, if you’d prefer a culinary education, sign up for hands-on cooking lessons with British cookbook sensation Diane Seed, who has lived in Rome for 30 years and teaches out of her house in Piazza Venezia.

Libra

The ruling planet of Libra is Venus, which explains why people born under the sign value beauty, art and romance above all. And in Buenos Aires, you’re sure to find the passion and inspiration you seek in the city’s sultry streets and colorful barrios. Set to exploring San Telmo, a dynamic neighborhoods known for its antique stores, bohemian cafes and vibrant late-night bar scene. After, venture out to the 430-seat theater, El Abastro, to catch dancers in period costumes gives one of the sultriest tango performances in the city. For dramatic digs with undeniable style, bed down at the Philippe Starck-designed Faena Hotel Buenos Aires, which has sweeping city views, sumptuous décor (think: red-velvet drapes, crystal candelabras and walls lined with unicorn heads) and a 20s-inspired cabaret theater.

Scorpio

Dreaming of traversing the saffron-gold sands of the Sahara on camelback? Of course you are—you’re a Scorpio! And nothing gets you more excited than the thought of going off the grid and playing explorer. Set up camp at Erg Chigaga– a luxury glamping experience in the middle of the Sahara and surrounded by the snow-topped Atlas Mountains—and you’ll spend your days sandboarding, embarking on local Berber-lead walking tours, and riding camels into the Erg Chigaga dunes, the country’s tallest. Centered around a central Berber communal rooms, the nine luxury sleeping tents come equipped with en-suite bathrooms, hammocks and wall-to-wall kilims.

Sagittarius

You’re curious, open-minded and well-traveled. There’s not a place in the world you wouldn’t be interested in visiting, nor is there a culture out there that doesn’t fascinate you. So where to next, for the globe-trotting Sagittarius? Why not Mynamar, with its gilded pagodas, traditional tea houses and gloroious coastline? Experience the area’s 4,000 sacred stupas by taking a hot-air balloon ride over the scattered across the plains of Bagan. You’ll get unparalleled views of the river and mountains, as well the temples and rural villages in the distance. After, learn how to cook local dishes at the Bamboo Delight Cooking School, where chefs help you choose ingredients at a market before showing you the ropes. Your digs are on the eastern shore of Lake Inle at the Novotel Inle Lake Myat Min—a contemporary sleep with a restaurant over the lake and a walk-in wine cellar.

Capricorn

Goal-oriented and adventurous, Capricorns love a challenge. Capricorn is also an earth sign, so you’ll want to go somewhere where you’ll be surrounded by nature. And in the Canadian Rockies, you’ll be in the cradle of some of the country’s most rugged, beautiful scenery. Make the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise your home base, and choose from more than 100 trails that that lace the surrounding Whitehorn Mountain. Not one for heights? Rent a canoe and paddle across Lake Louise towards the Victoria Glacier. Back at the hotel, treat yourself to a bliss-worthy treatment at the spa (we’d recommend the Hiker’s Foot Therapy), or go for a muscle-relaxing soak in the hydrotherapy jet bath.

Aquarius

Aquarians are free-thinking and eccentric, preferring off-the-beat travel experiences to those involving big crowds and touristy attractions. We say, where better to escape the masses than in Greenland? Start with a visit to the Inuit town of Uummannaq, in Northwestern Greenland, with its 1175-meter-high heart-shaped mountain and harbor, where whale watching trips (spot humpbacks, pilot and minke whales) and dog-sledding under the Northern Lights (September through April) are local pastimes. To get a bird’s eye view of the area, go for a helicopter tour of the Uummannaq Fjord and nearby glaciers. The frosty views are seriously mind-blowing.

Pisces

The last sign on the Zodiac, people born under Pisces are dreamers, visionaries and mystics. Heavily commercialized places like Las Vegas are anathema to the sensitive Pisces, who instead prefer dreamy locales brimming with exoticism and mystery. Like Marrakech, for example. Once you arrive in the Red City, check into the 18th-century Riad Kniza, an intimate stay with Moorish architecture, lush courtyards and rooms decked out in rich fabrics and local antiques. Explore the sous at the edge of Jemaa el-Fna Square, where spices and fruit perfume the air, and smooth leather and textiles are ready for you to bring home. After, venture to Majorelle Garden, a 12-acre retreat built by French artist Jacques Majorelle and later owned by Yves Saint Laurent, or tour the peaceful grounds of Koutoubia, Marrakech’s most historically-significant mosque.
