6 Comfy Outfits JS Editors Are Wearing to Work from Home
Here at Jetsetter, we've been working remotely for a couple of weeks now, just like many of you around the world. And while the work-from-home lifestyle definitely presents challenges (our roundup of funny quarantine memes highlights some of them), one thing we've found comfort in is our style. We could stay in PJs all day, but instead, we're choosing to hang on to the normalcy that the act of getting dressed provides. Below, the comfy, work-from-home–friendly outfits JS editors are wearing these days.
Jackie's WFH Outfit
“I’ll admit that I’ve been spending a large portion of my days in sweats. But when I do change into something slightly more appropriate for a video call or solitary walk around the block, I go for this cashmere cardigan and my favorite Girlfriend Collective leggings. I’ve also found that putting on simple earrings—I live in these gold hoops from Etsy—and a swipe of lip balm makes me feel a lot more put-together with little effort.”

David's WFH Outfit
“I’m sure I’m not the only one whose anxiety has gone through the roof sitting at home all day, so I’m trying to be as comfortable as possible. I recently picked up this hoodie from Richer Poorer and it’s SO comfy that I just had to order the matching sweatpants, too—but for now these joggers from J.Crew are my go-to. I also grabbed this cute pair of glasses from Warby Parker so I can at least look a little professional on our conference calls. And of course no day at home is complete without a super soft throw and a candle from JS favorite Le Labo.”

Lindsey's WFH Outfit
“Because of a fortuitously timed vacation, it’s now been three weeks since I was last in an office setting, but there’s a silver lining to this current situation: my work wardrobe has never been cozier! During the day, you’ll find me at my desk or dining room table—sitting on a couch or bed makes me sleepy—in a comfy turtleneck sweater, loose joggers, and my favorite Minnetonkas. I also keep a blanket close by—hey, heat is expensive! One thing that hasn’t changed? I’m never without a cup of tea, so I’m that girl that keeps a coaster on every surface.”

Tyler's WFH Outfit
“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I love these Snooze Pants from SAXX. They’re so soft and they take working from home to a whole new level of coziness. Aside from that, all else I’ve been wearing is this Champion hoodie so I can use the drawstrings to cover the majority of my face. It’s really comforting. I’ve been on and off with my footwear, but when I do put on shoes for the grandest part of my day (taking out the trash or running to the bodega to pick up Ragu or something), I’m sliding on these Allbirds Wool Loungers because they’re really easy to wear on a minute’s notice. Lastly, I love Boy Smells, and I’m really happy to have this candle because it smells nice and I’ve been performing concerts for her nightly with the help of my Amazon Echo. I think she’s a big fan of my singing.”

Gretchen's WFH Outfit
“Even though I’m not leaving my apartment, I’m making a point to change out of pajamas every day and put on something clean and comfy. Getting dressed has become a surprising source of happiness during this strange time. I’m a big clothes person, and have amassed a small collection of quality pieces that I love. Fluffy sweaters, cute sweatpants, colorful socks—little things that are bringing me a lot of joy these past few weeks. I find myself grabbing for my babaà sweaters daily, as well as a rotating cast of classic cotton tees, soft sweatpants or leggings, and always a fun pair of socks. I also just purchased an East Fork pottery mug, which has made my morning coffee a little more exciting as well.”

Clara's WFH Outfit
“When I want to feel pulled together at home, I reach for these comfy cargo pants from J.Crew and a simple button-down. Of course, slippers are a must, and I wouldn’t make it through the day without noise-cancelling headphones!”
