We all play favorites when it comes to pizza — some like cheesy thin-crust, others deep-dish piled high with a smorgasbord of toppings. Lucky for us, The Daily Meal took 101 bites for the team, taste-testing slices across the country and polling chefs, food critics and pizza enthusiasts to find the most mouthwatering pie. Rough job.

Other top contenders: Di Fara in Brooklyn, Pizzeria Mozza in LA, Flour + Water in San Francisco, Buddy’s Pizza in Detroit and Coalfire Pizza in Chicago.
For our money, we can’t get enough of the Beastmaster pizza (mozzarella, tomatoes, pork sausage, gorgonzola, onion, caper and jalapeño) at Roberta’s in Brooklyn. But, hey, we don’t discriminate.
