New York to Nassau, Bahamas

Have Caribbean on the mind this fall? In October, Delta launches a second option of daily flights between JFK and Nassau, in the Bahamas. The second departure from New York leaves at 1:45 p.m., arriving in Nassau at 5:10 p.m.; return flights depart Nassau at 6 p.m. daily and land in New York at 9:10 p.m. (If you time your vacation days for December, you're also in luck: Delta will soon launch daily flights to Kingston, Jamaica.)

The latter, clocking in at 18 hours and 45 minutes, will officially become the world’s longest flight when it takes off this October.

Speaking of the south, Spirit Airlines is rolling out a host of exciting new destinations reachable if you fly direct from Orlando.
