You’ve Never Seen Chicago Like This Before

London may have the Eye, but Chicago's got Skyline, a new network of glass cable cars that would beat Britain's wheel any day.

Seeing Chicago’s impressive architecture by boat is cool. Getting a bird’s-eye view from a glass cable car? Now that’s something to brag about.

Architecture firms Marks Barfield and Davis Brody Bond have teamed up to design the Chicago Skyline, a new aerial gondola that will run across the Windy City, transporting tourists from Navy Pier to the Riverwalk, Millennium Park and Michigan Avenue.

Visitors can hop the 30-minute tram, which hangs 17 stories above the water, and snap away at the city skyline both during the day and in the evening. Top photo opps include the Loop, the John Hancock Center and the corn-cob-shaped Marina City towers. For a sneak peek of the new attraction, watch the short video below.
