Barcelona

Very rarely does Europe go on sale in the peak summer season, which is why we’re especially excited to see Barcelona flights in the $200 range. If you book in September (hello, Labor Day!), you can fly direct from Newark ($227), Miami ($292), and even San Francisco ($283). Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City (JFK), Philadelphia, Boston, and Fort Lauderdale also have wallet-friendly flights, but they have layovers. You’ll find deals on Delta, United, Lufthansa, Iberia, Swiss, and Brussels Airlines. Note: These fares are basic economy, meaning advanced seat selection and checked bags aren’t included.
