JS Editors’ Favorite Products of 2019
Here at Jetsetter, we editors test a lot of products—everything from travel-friendly fashion finds and new beauty launches to the coolest tech and home goods. Needless to say, when we tasked ourselves with choosing our absolute favorite buys of 2019, it was no easy feat. After much consideration, each editor picked out the two best products of the year, ready for you to shop below.
Cole Haan ZERØGRAND Hiker Boot
“I picked up these boots just as it was starting to warm up last year and immediately began counting down the days 'til I could wear them again. They've easily been my go-to shoes this season. I find most boots incredibly uncomfortable, but these feel great thanks to Cole Haan’s ZERØGRAND cushioned sole. I might even treat myself to another color this year!”

Mango Metal Pendant Earrings
"I'm all about a statement earring, and these ones from Mango make any outfit a little cooler. I just love the geometric design. P.S.— they're on sale right now!"
— Clara Sedlak, Executive Editor
State Bags Crosby Fanny Pack
“The fanny pack trend really blew up this year, and I found myself reaching for my leather one by STATE Bags nonstop. It’s roomy enough for my phone, wallet, and other essentials, and it looks chic with its rectangular shape and gold hardware. It’s the perfect fuss-free going-out bag!”
— Jackie Homan, Style + Travel Editor
D.S. & DURGA Portable Fireplace Scented Candle
“I love lighting candles at home, especially in the fall and winter months—they create such a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. My husband and I return to D.S. & Durga candles again and again. The last few months we’ve been burning Holy Ficus, but as the temps drop I’m so excited to start using the Portable Fireplace candle. I miss having a fireplace in our home, but this candle’s smoky, woody notes are the next best thing.”
— Gretchen Dorosz, Senior Photo Editor
Snowe Classic Bath Towel
“Snowe’s classic bath towels are my latest investment for home, and I can’t believe my husband and I waited this long to get them. No more scratchy, faded, got-it-from-a-department-store-during-college towels. No, these babies are the real deal. Not only are they super soft and well-made, their lightweight material is both highly absorbent and quick to dry—plus, there’s a convenient built-in loop for easy hook hanging. Best of all, they’re just $22 a pop.”
— Lindsey Olander, Senior Editor
Converse Chuck Taylor Sneakers
“I know I’m really late to the game, but I just bought my first pair of Converse this year and I think I’ve worn them every single day since. Comfy, casual, and stylish—you really can’t go wrong with such a classic shoe.”
— Tyler Schoeber, Production Specialist
H&M Jacquard-Knit Sweater
"Animal print has been one of the biggest trends of 2019, and I expect it to continue into the new year. This fuzzy sweater from H&M quickly became one of my favorite pieces of the season."
— Clara Sedlak, Executive Editor
Non Gender Specific Flooid Fragrance
“I’m seriously in love with Non Gender Specific’s Everything Serum, so when I heard the brand was releasing its first fragrance I HAD to have it! Thankfully it did not disappoint. The fragrance smells incredible with notes of citrus, amber, patchouli, and vetiver that make it perfect for anyone or any occasion.”
— David Hattan, Photo Editor
Everlane Women's Editor Boot
“When I came across The Editor Boot on Everlane’s website it was love. I thought the silhouette was so sophisticated and classic, but it still felt like a really cool boot. They work for every season, are comfortable enough to wear all day around the city, and the leather is so beautiful and soft. And the price is not outrageous like so many other high-quality boots out there right now. The hardest part was picking between the black, bone, or chocolate option... all so chic!”
— Gretchen Dorosz, Senior Photo Editor
Bose QuietComfort 35 II Wireless Bluetooth Headphones
“I was a lifelong user of airplane headphones (hey, they’re free) until I tried Bose QuietComfort Headphones for the first time, and now I’ll never go back. They’re such a splurge, but worth every single penny. During a recent long-haul to Brisbane, I could actually hear in-flight movies without turning the captions on, and my headphones were so comfortable and effective at shutting out background noise, I kept them on to fall asleep. (No more relying on fickle earplugs that never stay put!) Wearing them through the terminal was also great for shutting out the chaos. If you ask for one gift this holiday season, make these it.”
— Lindsey Olander, Senior Editor
Kosas Wet Lip Oil Gloss
“I can’t even count how many new makeup products I try each year, so when I can’t stop thinking about one, I know it’s the real deal. That’s the case for my Kosas Wet Lip Oil Gloss, which I got my hands on immediately after it launched in October. It’s crazy-hydrating, non-sticky, and super slick—the everyday gloss of my dreams.”
— Jackie Homan, Style + Travel Editor
Polaroid Originals OneStep+ Instant Film Camera
“This camera has been so much fun to play around with. From shooting some of my favorite stories like this one and our Everlane Re:Down Puffer review, to random impromptu fashion shoots with some of my best friends, I’ve been loving this camera ever since I got it.”
