How to Get There
Stayed for one night on a business trip.
- Good-sized room
- Friendly staff
- Plentiful breakfast
- Decent minibar prices with proper-sized wine bottles
- Quick and efficient check-in although reception was busy
- Quiet room
- Taxi rank available outside hotel
- Weird location. Not really in the city centre.
- Room and décor are starting to show their age. Some wear and tear. The TV and one lamp in my room didn’t work.
- No power outlet by bed.
This is by no means a luxury hotel. Rather, it could be described as a utilitarian Scandi-hotel that, comparing to international 4-star hotels, really felt and looked more like a 3-star hotel. For example, room service came in a takeaway bag with plastic cutlery, bathroom products were of the generic cheap kind and room contained no slippers nor bathrobe. Overall, the hotel appeared to be geared very much towards conference participants and bus load tourists stopping over for a quick night. The hotel did its job but felt soulless.
Very nice hotel close to many places. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Breakfast sufficient and high quality. Very fast checkin and checkout with professional performance. Absolutely my recommondatiin for a city trip to Copenhagen.
Rooms are clean, they have some really nice theme rooms, location is great, 20 min to downtown, to visit the most important buildings, great view and great breakfast! The lobby is really big and the whole hotel has a unique design.
The hotel staff was friendly and the room basically okay.
But the "Executive breakfast" was like being back in time to the USSR.
Dull and unworthy kitchen staff, waited as all other guests more than half an hour for omelets or scrambled eggs, a buffet that is not worth the name, etc.
Asked at the hotel reception if it was possible to go for the normal breakfast buffet on the following morning.
The reply was that I could do so, but the waiting time would most likely be even longer!
I primarily chose this hotel for it's location (easy to get in and out of the city) and on past reviews.
When I eventually figured out which tower my room was in, I found the room to be very pleasant, clean and comfortable - no complaints here.
The breakfast was really nice too, with a lot on offer. Although it's a long walk from the other tower, and annoyingly on one morning the lobby was closed off due to setting up of a conference. So we were told we had to walk outside to the other tower. A small niggle, but a bit annoying the hotel guests were not thought of in this situation.
The gym was nice too, and relatively quiet in the mornings.
A nice hotel, and I would consider staying for a short break to the city, if the price was reasonable.
