Excellent location

The rooms at the Imperial need updating, but the excellent location - basically across the street from Tívoli Gardens and walking distance to all major attractions - more than makes up for it. I also found the staff very pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast buffet very good. I would stay here again.

Perfect

Couldn’t ask for a better location , easy walking distance from everything including Tivoli gardens and the main railway station ( this is by far the cheapest way of getting from the airport to the city centre at around £4 per person ) .. hotel clean and staff friendly and helpful .. nothing to fault at all .

Perfect hotel in perfect location

We booked a quadruple room as there were 5 travellers and only in town for 2 nights. (max occupancy is 6 adults and room is very big)

Upon arrival, the hotel was very informative and courteous with regards to keeping us updated. Even when checking in we were greeted and attended to in a very timely manner especially as we got to the hotel by 11am and our room was already prepared. Most hotels visited in the past are very strict with their check-in times but Imperial were very flexible and helped us in this instance.

The room itself was massive and more than enough space for us all. There was a large king size bed, a sofa that turned into a double bed and Imperial also provided a rollaway bed for 5th traveller.

One of the highlights of the room was the bathroom - extremely modern, well maintained and much larger than we expected. There were 2 sinks, a large bath, toilet, bidet and a very powerful walk in shower! Room service were kind enough to provide us with several complimentary toiletries for our stay.

The room was overlooking the metro line and other hotels in the vicinity and so a nice change to an inner garden or a brick wall!

Another most impressive aspect of the hotel was the location. We were 30 seconds walk to the metro station, 30 second walk to a 7/11, 5 minute (or less) walk to the main bus station from where you can also catch the underground train to Copenhagen Airport so very handy indeed.

There were several food places around us and most cuisines were in walking distance. For money exchange we had probably 5+ bureaus and I would definitely recommend exchanging in Copenhagen as rate is better than UK. The same applies to left over currency on the way home as Travelex had a very poor rate for Krone.

Overall, an extremely enjoyable weekend away with friends and I would very highly recommend Imperial Hotel as the perfect hotel for your stay in Copenhagen.

Very central

Been here on a short business trip. Rooms are very small but clean though. Breakfasts were very good and very rich. There's a nearby 7/11 if you need extras. Lobby was nice and check-in was smooth too.

Arrived late in the evening - front desk person was friendly and assisted me immediately.

My room was larger than several that I’ve had in the city. The strange thing was needing to walk down 2 incredibly long hallways to get to the room. I like the room layout with desk, chairs, large comfortable bed with a variety of lighting.

Three big windows that actually open! AND true black put curtains for those of us who need a bit more darkness to sleep.

Bathroom floor appears to be heated (wow - love that!) Just what I need and nothing that I don’t. Perfect for a business traveler.

Located to great places to eat and sites to see.
