How to Get There
I stayed here for 2 nights whilst on business in Copenhagen. Positives - great location, very clean bathroom, decent sized room & a good buffet breakfast. Negatives - Lamp not working (not fixed when reported), chairs in the room were stained & bedspread had marks on it, making the bed look grubby. Bit disappointed.
Nice hotel with a great location right in the heart of Copenhagen which is close to 2 stations. Tiny lift. Excellent breakfast catering to all tastes. Italian restaurant at the front is not fabulous. Ate here once and the food was not great. Very expensive drinks from the bar.
I did not book this hotel as I was too busy, and most certainly will not stay here again. The room was of a good size, clean linen and towels and you get a good nights sleep. But first the AC was not working and when they moved me to another room, the AC had the sound of a freight train....that is ok, what bothered me is that everytime the reception said they will solve the problems, but actually nothing at all happened. Plus I had a bad smell in the bathroom in BOTH rooms and the armchairs are dirty...in fact I had to take one out of the room as it was filthy, and covered the other one with towels during my stay. Nice people to deal with, but no action is ever taken. And the price for this hotel was crazy compared to the quality.
The hotel staff was friendly and helped me get a room despite arriving in the morning. The location is close to the train station and about a 15-20 minute walk to the old town section of the city. Breakfast was included, it was OK, nothing fancy. The only negative was the price but as we all know Copenhagen is well know for having very expensive hotels. I recommend booking your hotel well in advance as prices tend to increase the closer you get to the date.
Location wise the hotel is very well situated. Elevators are tiny, fit 3 or 4 people at a time. Room was comfortable, clean, well maintained but small. I felt like I was in a fish bowl. For a Short stay it is OK.
