How to Get There
Just checked into the hotel, and whereas the lobby and ground floor surroundings live up to nice pictures posted online, the room itself is hardly worth 3 stars. The bathroom is as tiny as a coffin, and not to forget all the black mold in the claustrophobic small shower. Furthermore, there is no ventilation system or telephone in the room when you want to call down to reception to complain about something...
Having forced myself to overcome these things, I lay down on the bed only to find the absolute worst hotel pillow I have ever used - TERRIBLE!!!!
If you are looking for a hotel with good standard in a very central location, you should only focus on the location part if you are considering this hotel, as my impression of the hotel itself is unfortunately really sub-standard.
Lovely hotel and super helpful and friendly staff! Great location to explore Copenhagen.
We were there in August and our room was incredibly hot at night ...even for Australians and it was difficult to sleep. Needs ventilation and air con during warmer nights . But this is minor....a lovely hotel, great people and we would come back!!!!!
Unfortunately staff can’t help with the run down poor state of rooms and bathrooms (we had a deluxe room!) was offered another but had very poor ventilation within the atrium. Windows could do with secondary glazing to drown out some of the noise. Pride week being especially noisy, club nearby belted out music outside until 5am Friday/Saturday and Saturday/Sunday and until 2am on the Thursday/Friday night, after which crowd singing/shouting/bottles smashing then the rubbish clearance vehicles started so didn’t sleep a wink these nights. Not conducive to a relaxed long weekend away. Food in Louise’s restaurant excellent. 4 star restaurant but barely 2 star hotel. Good location though for exploring the city.
