How to Get There
Location is amazing, perfect for taking in amazing Copenhagen. Reception and Foyer are impressive with efficient Reception staff. Sadly we felt most - not all - were a little aloof. We were excited to be back in Copenhagen for out 25th wedding anniversary after honeymooning there in 1994 and mentioned this on arrival but it was dismissed leaving us feeling a little deflated.
Our room was very dated but comfortable and clean but we were disappointed to not have a view. Our room looked out into a roof type area and had the windows frosted so we could only see it if we opened the window. The rooms and corridors are dimly lit possibly to add ambiance or perhaps to hide the scores on the paintwork.
Breakfast was lovely and lots of selection. The pancakes and home made jam are a must.
All in all we were comfortable for our 4 night stay but were a little disappointed that our big celebration was not all we had hoped for.
We had to check out on our 2nd day. Don’t pay 150Euros/night to this sh*tshow just throw your money somewhere else. The room was dusty as hell made me sniff all night. Furniture had stains and was older than my grandma but I mean not in a good way. If you’re visiting Copenhagen you have so many other options don’t do this to yourself. If someone from the hotel administration is reading this: “get your s*it together”.
The rooms were old and filthy, the furniture and the carpet had stains on them. Even though we booked an executive room it was poorly cleaned and there was dust all over the place. The morning staff was nice and helpful but in the evening the receptionist was quite rude. Also when you enter the hotel there is a mould smell, like grease. Definitely not worth the money.
