How to Get There
We was stay for 2 days and it was prefect. The staff and the facilities was so well organized. The food it was Michelin star ☆☆☆ level. Everything we eat and drink it was so prefect and fresh. Thanks for hospitality and for this excellent experience!!
The husband & I have just returned from an 11 night stay in this hotel. The first impression of the hotel is contemporary, fresh & clean, an impression that does not fade. We were greeted in reception by friendly smiles & were efficiently checked in and then driven to our room. Again the room has a contemporary feel. Only the bathroom let it down, with the shower being over a bath ( although it was a jacuzzi bath) but I would have preferred to see a walk in shower. Lovely balcony over looking the pool. The sliding doors leading on to it had an outer screen to stop the bugs which is a nice touch.
The hotel has two nice big pools which were cleaned regularly. The sun loungers have the best padding I have ever seen, really comfortable.
The one thing above all that stands out this hotel is the staff, they can’t do enough for you. From Stella who greets you at the restaurant door, to Theodoris who served around the pool and in the bar at lunch time and all their colleagues, really great people.
The food at the hotel although plentiful & of a decent quality reduced my rating. There was just not the variety for me of the type of food I like to eat. Very few fresh vegetables (all were cooked in sauces), very little fish with the exception of shellfish. On seafood night it was mainly shellfish. There were two meat dishes but one had run out so the choice was exceptionally poor for the husband who is a big meat eater. We did visit the al a carte restaurant once during the stay. The food here is very well presented but very expensive. It is definitely style over substance. We had the Greek salad to start, which although very pretty had only a sprinkling of feta. I then had Seabass which again was beautifully presented but the husbands steak definitely lacked vegetables being meat & some mashed white veg only. The desserts were very pretty but very rich. Obviously a lot of effort goes into the preparation of this food and the chef is very talented but the food needs to satisfy as well look good. Ten out of ten for Kostas though who was a very attentive waiter & made the experience very enjoyable.
The last thing I will say is about the location. This hotel is very remote. If like us in the early evening and after your meal you like to stroll out, find a bar or have a look at a few shops this is definitely not the hotel for you. Kos Town is not really in walking distance, you can hire bikes (as we did) and cycle there as there are excellent cycle paths and there is a bus outside the hotel which costs €2 but all this has to be planned. There is one hotel about five minutes walk away called the White Pearl that allows non residents. It is a small boutique hotel that is adults only and has a great bar and serves wonderful food - without this place are holiday would not been quite so enjoyable. We relaxed here for a couple of hours each evening for a change from the hotel to experience something else.
We had a great holiday but for us a week at the Diamond Deluxe is plenty.
This hotel is amazing. If trip advisor did a 4.5 score ,thats what I would of scored it.The staff are lovely,so friendly and helpful. The layout and decor of the hotel is stunning, extremely clean and modern. Our room was spacious and clean, but our shower had a smashed area in it and the grout looked dirty it could of done with being redone. Also a mirror by the tea and coffee facilities was cracked and the tea tray and mirrored top was marked. These few bits took the shine off the room to be honest, not making it a 5* experience. That said the room had everything we needed.
The food was delicious, presentation beautiful.Lots of choice at breakfast and evening with different themed nights every night.
There wasnt much of an atmosphere around the pool bar,it would of been good if a drinks promotion was on at a set time daily to get people using the area. Also its the first place I've been abroad that doesnt offer an alcohol free beer at the bar, such a shame.I did get one in Kos town and the supermarket 20 mins walk from the hotel.
This place is so relaxing and chilled out we loved our stay and would definately return.
Awesome. Great hotel, great service, excellent food, great facilities, clean and well maintained.
We’ve had a wonderful week here relaxing in beautiful surroundings. What a pleasure!
Thanks Diamond Deluxe. We’ll be back!
This is a luxurious hotel on a beautiful island. The first class service starts the moment you arrive and doesn't ever stop. Location is good - just a short ride into Kos Town, but actually if you just want a relaxing time then this hotel is perfect. When we arrived late we had a salad, a bottle of wine and fruit left in our room which was a nice touch. The food in the restaurant was superb and every day we had a great selection both at breakfast and dinner. The beach over the road has extremely comfortable sun beds and as it is a distance from other hotels/resorts is very peaceful. I would highly recommend staying here if you get the chance.
