How to Get There
THE best hotel we have stayed in by far. The staff were amazing and could not do enough for you. The food was beyond lovely and the decor of the hotel was very chic! The best week we could have imagined. The spa was amazing and beside the pool was lovely and quiet so was very easy to relax.Perfect for a couples holiday to reset batteries and eat far more than you should. Highly recommend and will surely be back!
What an incredible place this hotel is. It was a special occasion for our honeymoon, so we’d thought we’d push the boat out. This place did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, we were spoilt and wanted for nothing. We were whisked to our room on a golf cart type vehicle, where we found food of fresh Greek salad, fresh fruit, bottled water and a bottle of wine provided for us, complimentary of the house.
Our swim up room did not disappoint, and our personal loungers were inches from the pool, where we spent most of the day. The on-site mini market provided snacks and refreshments throughout the day for a very reasonable price, and we found the ability to charge everything to our room most convenient. The food was incredible. Lots to choose, and plenty of it! I enjoyed the local Greek delicacies, both for breakfast and for the evening meal. The offer of a glass of Prosecco with our breakfast was a lovely touch.
The staff were very helpful and charming, and couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel was very clean and tidy, and our rooms were turned down daily to an immaculate standard. The hotel atmosphere was very relaxing and calm.
The location was excellent and the beach from was literally across the road. We took full advantage of the personal and private four poster beach front loungers, complete with slats and blinds to keep cool.
Great location, great food, great staff.
It was a blissful week in a relaxing paradise, we look forward to visiting again.
Just came back from a week at the Diamond Deluxe hotel and was really impressed. It’s a lovely, well designed resort. Rooms are modern with very comfortable beds, great shower & excellent air conditioning. Lovely pool and beach area. Beach is rocky so take shoes & sea was pretty choppy so not that easy for swimming but still very nice for a dip to cool off. Very good spa as well. We had some excellent treatments so highly recommend booking. Hotel staff are also very helpful and professional. On arrival late at night after a delayed flight, we had an issue as we had requested a twin room and had been given a small double, but it was all rectified in the morning with no drama and we were moved to another room which was perfect. Staff are very friendly without being overbearing and one young guy helped us get into a fabulous restaurant in Kos Town which was full but he recognised us and got us a table (he was working in both places).
We went bed and breakfast and extra food and drink is not cheap, but there is a small shop although still quite pricey but I guess it is a 5 star hotel. There’s also a nice shop with stylish beach wear. Gym is a nice size and cool, but could do with some more cardio machines & they were quite old. There is free yoga in the morning but it’s not particularly good and is outside in the heat so would give that a miss. Pool area is quiet during the day (especially as it’s adults only) and there are always lots of sun loungers which is great so no rushing to bag a spot. The only issue was that if you want some shade, it’s a bit difficult to keep moving the sun beds around as it’s quite tight on space and the umbrellas don’t move. There is some music at night at the outside bar if you want some entertainment. Its pretty loud so you can hear it in your room if you’re on that side of the hotel, but it’s over by around midnight. Food is really good. €30 per person (not including any drinks even water) for the dinner buffet if you’re not half board. Lots of options including gluten free. Only gripe is that they do start clearing everything away very early and it’s a bit noisy so get there in good time or you feel rushed. But I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing, peaceful, grown up holiday. Only major downside and warning is Kos airport! This my second visit the island and the airport was equally horrific both times. You have to queue outside for about an hour just to get inside, there are not enough seats inside and it’s baking hot. Felt sorry for families with young kids or older people. Be prepared for delays, sitting on the floor and general chaos which sadly undoes the relaxation of the holiday. Make sure you have a good book or stuff to watch.
