How to Get There
We stayed 4 nights in a ground floor accessible room which was fine as my husband needs to use a small scooter. Bathroom was quite difficult for him lacking in rails. I was disappointed our room did not have the Versailles murals as advertised but to compensate we did have the patio area right outside our room which was lovely for sitting with drinks. Food at hotel was good & staff helpful. All in all we had a super time & so close to Palace. Very challenging for my husband but so pleased we made it!!
If you're going to visit Versailles you need to keep your strength up for the walking involved so stay somewhere near the palace and the town so you can get the most from your experience. This hotel perfectly fits the bill - quiet, comfortable rooms with tea making facilities. No evening meals when we were there but plenty of choice nearby particularly in the market square. Convenient secure parking beneath the hotel at additional cost.
We are a family of 4 and we stayed for one night on our way north. The hotel is clean, brilliantly located, and very friendly. We stayed in the family suite and it was amazing! The hotel is a stones throw to the palace and 15 min walk to fantastic restaurants. Would highly recommend it!
