Convenient to Merida Airport
Reviewed 4 weeks ago

This place was a great spot to park ourselves for two days after spending a week in Telchac Puerto. We wanted to be close to the airport, but also have access to the city of Merida. The pool side is very nice with an indoor/outdoor restaurant right there. We spent the day swinging in hammocks in the shade and sunning and swimming. In the evenings, we called for an Uber to shuttle us into the center of the city so we could enjoy all the offerings of Merida Fest. Ubers are plentiful, came in under three minutes every time we phoned for one, and ran us roughly 40 pesos each trip.

We were newbie visitors to Mexico, and our Spanish is woefully poor. But the staff there is friendly, accommodating, and almost everyone could help us navigate the language. A special shoutout to the front desk team, and bellman Angel Castillo is the embodiment of his name--he was indeed an angel--you need anything, ask him--he is on it.

We stayed in one of their superior rooms; the bed was very comfortable, and it was spotless.

Peaceful Location

Just left this hotel for Chichen Itza and missing it already. We spent three days here using it as a base for various trips and it was a perfect haven to return to. Lovely knowledgable staff, great service and a stones throw away from the buzzing city of Merida. A wonderful start to our tour of the Yucatán.

Visited in October 2017, not 2018, but wanted to finally leave a review because I enjoyed it so much. The hotel is charming, the rooms are spacious and lovely, and the staff are wonderful. It’s walkable to everything. Definitely stay here!

Boutique Hotel in heart of Merida

Centrally located a short walk from the main square, this is a delightful boutique hotel with just 12 rooms I believe,

Our room had a huge bed. Mattress a bit too firm for me but my husband liked it. Robes provided and also ironing board and iron and hairdryer. Nice powerful shower. But the best bit for me (pay attention girls, this one’s great) is the amazing magnifying make up mirror in the bathroom. I don’t know what the magnification was – a lot! And the light was excellent. I want one!

Breakfast is by the pool and waiter service. Various choices. Service relaxed so factor this in if you are in a hurry. Wi-fi not good. I needed to use it for work and it kept dropping out – I struggled.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. This hotel was perfect for our stay in Merida.

A ps: be sure to visit Le Negrita just down the road – great place. But get there early (by 7.00pm) if you want to get a table.

Very charming hotel with beautiful cool pool in picturesque surroundings. Lovely room with separate dressing room. Very attentive staff. Only eight rooms so you can be sure of personal service, No restaurant but breakfast good.
