Very charming hotel with beautiful cool pool in picturesque surroundings. Lovely room with separate dressing room. Very attentive staff. Only eight rooms so you can be sure of personal service, No restaurant but breakfast good.

Perfect hideout in the city

The hotel is located walking distance to the city center and the Paseo de Montejo (nice street!) which made everything very easy. When we arrived, the hotel owner greeted us in German (where we were from) before we could even say our names. We were the last ones to arrive that day, so he knew where we were from. I think it‘s little things like that that make you feel home right away. Once you enter this place everything is peaceful and quiet which makes you feel like you‘re not in the city center anymore. The whole hotel area is so nice and the rooms are also very warm and welcoming. The staff is excellent and made us feel home during our whole stay. The hotel also has a nice pool! I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat to anyone travelling to Mérida.

Peaceful and quite place a few steps from the center

A beautiful hacienda with a pool to relax. Warm welcome from the personnel. The bathroom products were definitely a big plus: all naturals and based with honey.
The room was spacious but a bit too dark for us.

Impeccable service and style

This is a fantastic colonial mansion in an excellent location. The hotel is small enough to offer an extremely personable service and be on first name terms with all the staff. Albert in particular was way beyond helpful, taking me to the car park, suggesting restaurants and providing general tips and advice on the local area. With 20+ years in the industry he certainly knows his clientele, especially the mainly European people who frequent this hotel.

The hotel and grounds are beautiful, providing a peaceful and atmospheric feeling come morning or night. Rooms are as you would expect for a hotel of this standard and location with good facilities, WiFi etc.

Location can’t really be beaten, being in a quieter area just away from the center of the historic quarter. Everything is within walking distance including the market on the far side of the plaza. Plenty of excellent restaurants in the immediate and wider area and the hotel ‘Mexican Breakfast’ was also good.

For those, looking for the parking. It’s no problem to just stop momentarily outside to ask for help, but you will find the parking lot on the right hand side at a turquoise building with ‘E’ for estacionamiento on the wall. This is just a few houses before the hotel itself on the oneway Calle 62.

First rate operation and great location

The entire staff was extraordinary in their manner, accommodation, and assistance.
When you open the door from the street, you enter a surreal experience of color, ambience, and serenity. Very quiet at night, and safe everywhere in the surroundings, day or night. We plan to return as it is a short flight from Miami, and the Merida airport is only a 10-15 minutes from the hotel. Easy city to negotiate, from Zona Paseo Montejo to the city center. Very walkable, and every day we returned to serenity, poolside. Don't skip the breakfast....lovely.
