Reasonable hotel but with a few issues
Reviewed 2 months ago

In general not a bad hotel, but overall I found it a little disappointing. The beds appeared to have a plastic liner right under the sheet which squeaked as you rolled over and made the bed a little uncomfortable. For people with mobility issues be aware that there is no elevator. Breakfast was so-so. The location right on the Malecon is pleasant if you want to stroll by the sea, but it's a 15 minute walk into town and there's no restaurants other than fast-food near the hotel.

Clean, crisp and well run with a lovely view out front

A well maintained hotel right in fornt of the Gulf of Mexico. I highly recommend the hotel. I understand that it doesnt have the same Mexican feeling as some other options but the staff are second to none. Brekkie is decent. Rooms are large and comfy. No complaints form me.

Looks good from the outside

Nice situation across the road from Gulf of Mexico but no view from the room on ground floor. Rather worn and tired hotel, no evening meal available and a good 15 minute walk or a taxi ride into old town Campeche which was excellent to visit. Room was basic with paper thin walls and a lot of sound transfer from adjacent rooms and the corridor. No facecloth, conditioner or fridge. Bed seems to have a rubber mattress cover which is uncomfortable on a hot night. Room safe existed but loose, not fixed to anything. Breakfast was a meagre selection.

Great Value and Location

We just spent a weekend at this hotel. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast was good. Staff was very polite and helpful.

The pool is smaller than it looked on the web site and the hotel is a little less elegant than what the pictures suggest. The only material problem is that there is no elevator. So we had to put grandma in a different room on the main floor.

Location is good. Very close to the mall, movie theatre, and the old city.

Overall a great value.

awesome!!

High end hotel. Fabulous room, took the master suite for the little difference and it was blissfuly quiet. Back out curtains..bonus!! Pool area looked fine, didn't use it but just didn't take the time. All around great place. It was a splurge for us after a whirlwind 10 days of busing here and there and ruin hopping. The splurge was still extremely doable split between for us. English front staff..not all but never was a problem to be understood because of the amount of staff around. Breakfast included. Hot buffet was awesome. Absolutely no complaints
