How to Get There
Ever since I attended a work meeting here and was stunned to see such a unique and stylish hotel with dog treats by the elevator and a list of their VIP pooches, I was hooked on this place. Outstanding service, clean and creative rooms, great food and decor and if anything isn’t right-they make it so. Whenever we return it’s always our first choice. Summertime can get a little pricey with all the events nearby but then so much is just a quick Uber away!
Me and my wife made our way back to the motherland for a surprise Valentine’s Day trip. First time visiting the Iron Horse even though we easily spend 3 months a year in my hometown/her favorite city.
Upon walking in, We were blown away by the lobby. Dripping with cool it was industrial chic at it’s finest. I was greeted immediately by the valet when we arrived, walked through the main entrance and was greeted by a lovely smile and hello from passing staff, walked to the front desk another lovely warm smile from a lovely woman that introduced herself as Cash. Check in was quick and easy. We were offered to be escorted to the room, but declined.
The rooms here are unbelievable. Beautiful lofted ceilings, great views, awesome bathroom. Only thing I wish had been different is a bathtub. Shower only, and it was a very nice shower, but I love a good tub.
We were unaware of a motorcycle show in town so the bar and restaurant were packed. There was live music and the place was jumping. We decided we weren’t leaving the hotel our entire trip! We sat at the bar Friday as well as Saturday night. The staff here is the coolest! D.J., Nick, Dan and Matt were great. The drink list was fantastic as were the burgers that we ate two nights in a row. Every single time I was downstairs no matter the time of day for three days straight D.J. was there. I think he may live there. He was a gracious host, recommended other places to go and really seemed to love what he did.
Just a travel tip in general. Always ask the bartender where you should hangout. 9/10 they will send you someplace cool you haven’t heard of.
Great Stay! Absolutely will be back! New favorite hotel in the country.
I was an invited builder to Mama Tried bike show. This hotel made the weekend perfect, they greeted us in are room with a bottle of white wine for my wife and 6 different local craft beers. Everything was perfect from start to finish.
Nicest, coolest and friendliest hotel ever !
Best hotel we ever stayed in ! Very interesting decor and food was amazing :) it was quite the experience and we can’t wait to come back again! Extremely comfortable and friendly atmosphere!
Overall great weekend at a very cool location. Please note: If you are visiting from out of town, you are not downtown but in a great urban area - Great location if you want to be near the Harley Museum
