How to Get There
Location is close to downtown Milwaukee and Harley Museum . This hotel is not worth $400 a night to stay I have stayed there three times now this time it was double. Must be under new management it was a lot nicer the first two times I stayed that's why I came back
Wish we would have known we would be greeted by a closed off parking lot bc of a margherita tasting and all the people that came with it. Also kept awake half the night by a LOUD obnoxious group of men in the room next door. The noise comes right through the adjoining room door so don’t get that kind of room unless you request it for yourself.
My husband and myself always stay at The Iron Horse Hotel when we visit Milwaukee. Nicely decorated hotel and the rooms are incredible. The hotel is within walking distance of Third Ward which has great dining places and the Harley Davidson museum is close to the hotel. The staff are outstanding. Kathy Trumbetas is the best. We always make sure we book through her as she has everything organized and we don't have to worry about anything. She truly makes our stay special. She loves our dog Harley and he can't wait to see her upon our arrival. She always has treats for him and he always has kisses & love for her. Jordan the Valet makes sure our vehicle is well taken care of. He always has a great smile on his face and is so accomodating. My husband is notorious for leaving something plugged in which drains the car battery. Jordan makes sure it is boosted and ready to go by the time we are downstairs. The Yard is a great place to have a drink. The ambiance they have created makes you never want to leave. Have Dayja Anthony serve you as she has this beautiful smile from ear to ear even when she has put in a long day. These people really go the extra mile and as business owners ourselves we can truly appreciate that kind of service. We look forward to our return to The Iron Horse in a few weeks for our 35th Wedding anniversary and we know it will be special. Carol Axent
We visited the Iron Horse for our dog's 6th birthday! It was a wonderful weekend because of the awesome staff on hand. Kathy, the concierge goes above and beyond to help make your stay enjoyable! She is pleasant and accommodating and is very knowledgeable about the hotel and area. She made our stay a memorable one, especially for our dog! Huge plus, she LOVES dogs! The rest of the staff was also attentive and friendly. Great front desk staff! Our room was perfect!
Had a great stay this last weekend. Margarita fest was going on and it was a lot of fun. We arrived Friday morning and waited maybe 20 minutes for our room. Jameson at the desk was knowledgeable and friendly. We took several of his recommendations. We ate Cheese Curds at Smyth, the restaurant in the hotel and loved it! Make sure to checkout Sweetdiner in the Third Ward for a spectacular brunch.
