Fantastic location

A very nice business hotel right in the main swing of things in downtown Madison.
1 block to the state capitol building and 2 blocks from an eclectic shopping and eatery street, State St. Summertime Farmer's Market takes place at capitol square each Saturday into the fall months. Museums, mostly free entrance, gift shops, cafes, coffee shops, etc are all in easy walking distance. The hotel offers a shuttle service from the airport and has hotel parking. Nice clean rooms; a restaurant and a Starbucks are inside the hotel. Inside my room 623, (which ask for a view of the capitol building;they light it up at night), which I didn't have, there is a small fridge, coffee maker, hot shower, nice tv.. The lighting is horrible for doing make up in the bathroom or in the main space. Nice bedside lamps for reading.. The bed was ok with nice linens. Very comfortable.

I stay here twice a year for a conference and the staff and accommodations are always top notch. I had a view of the capital and the farmer's market is right next door. Rooms are lovely and staff are very helpful and attentive.

Vibrant spot on football weekend!

I stayed here as for a fall college football game. Centrally located between the football field and downtown fun, I enjoyed my time. Hotel was full of football fans.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Parking is convenient, which is key in downtown Madison.

Nice restaurant for breakfast in the morning.

Best place to stay in Madison

We always book the Governors floor which offers a bar with snacks and deserts. The breakfast spread is alway great as well. The location to the square allows for walking to just about anything downtown. It is alway our place of choice to stay if it is available.
