How to Get There
We stayed for two nights at the Delafield to visit family that lives close by. The hotel is conveniently located just off I-94. Our room was huge--there were two king beds and plenty of space. The TV in the room was enormous as well. We got that room because with it being me, my husband, and our 8 year old daughter, they were going to charge us $30 a night for a rollaway, so upgrading to a room with two king beds actually turned out to be a bit cheaper than our original room with one king. The bathroom is also enormous--we all enjoyed the rain shower with the spray jets.
The hotel is within walking distance to a bunch of shops. We never went to the restaurant or spa so I can't comment on that. They do appear to have a gym on the property. I can definitely see why this hotel is popular with weddings!
We had our wedding here and everything went absolutely great. The hotel staff is welcoming and accommodating to guests' needs. Our guests were thoroughly impressed with the ballroom and overall decor of the Hotel, not to mention the immaculate rooms!
Outstanding accommodations with above average service from all aspects of the hotel. Food and drink, second to none in the area and a must stay for business or pleasure. Be sure you pay attention to the artwork - amazing.
I brought my husband for his 40th and we enjoyed in-room massages, as well as dinner at i.d. This was a wonderful relaxing weekend and I highly recommend. The town looks adorable as well but we did not venture out.
We stayed at the Delafield Hotel for a family wedding in early November. The hotel is incredibly unique and has some of the biggest rooms/bathrooms I’ve ever seen at a hotel. Huge soaking tub and the shower could have fit 6 people. Coffee in the room was great and we received complimentary passes to go work out at “Be” next door. Overall great experience and would highly recommend it! PS- If you plan on hosting a wedding at the Delafield Hotel, the food is exceptional!
