Average spa day
Reviewed 2 days ago

We spend the day here as part of a spa day we’d booked through treatwell. The facial and massage were the highlight of the trip- great treatments. The spa staff were lovely. However, everything else was very average. We had included cream tea in our booking which consisted of scones and cake. We choose to upgrade to afternoon tea which also included sandwiches... out came 8 small squares which added an additional £16 - definitely not worth the money, the most expensive average sandwiches we’ve ever had !!! Definitely not good value for money.

We stayed during Ascot week and really enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and highly organised. The food was excellent. We had a room upgrade which was a lovely surprise. Thanks for a great stay.

A relaxing stay!

I stayed here with my partner on a dinner, bed and breakfast rate and it was the perfect break from city life! The room was spacious and had a great view over the gardens, plus a very comfortable bed. Dinner was delicious and it was well worth paying a supplement to get the steak, which was cooked to perfection. The service from Sebastian was spot on and the restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere with plenty of natural light. We used the gym and spa the next day and the facilities are excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel!

Relaxing Hotel

We stayed for one night but everything was a pleasure. The reception was welcoming on arrival and the room was clean and relatively spacious and a comfortable mattress. We dined in the restaurant both the food and the menu was good and the waiters were friendly and very helpful.
All in all it was an enjoyable experience and we hope to return.

Outside of Royal Ascot the Berystede is a nice quiet hotel. It is not 5 star but does not pretend to be. The rooms are basic but clean, the grounds are beautiful and the bar and restaurant are very acceptable.

This was my 3rd stay of 2019 and this time was for Royal Ascot. The hotel is only 1 mile away from the racetrack and so it is always packed for the week and understandably the prices are a lot higher for the week. In our opinion it is 100% worth it. Being able to leave your room at 1.30pm ad be at the track to see the queen 30 mins later is a huge plus and not having to deal with the traffic or trains takes a lot of stress out of the week.

What really amazed us this week was the brilliant staff. From reception through to the bar and restaurant and then out to the concierge team running the shuttle buses they were all brilliant. It must be a tough week for them but they were so bubbly and helped us out wherever possible to make the stay better!

Thanks guys and I will be back later in the year
