How to Get There
Nice landscape with calm and peaceful environment. The room a bit old but good maintenance. My room without scenery, window just facing to the building wall. No balcony. TV without HD channel. Overall it is a nice hotel.
Checked in for a staycation for a night on the 1st June 2019. Overall, the place is well maintained and the breath of fresh green air was good. The scenery was relaxing, and the spa was enjoyable.
There was ample free parking for those staying in the resort.
The room is comfortable, although not really spacious, unless you're going for the suites. Itherwise, from standard to deluxe, the size does not change much.
Breakfast spread was adequate, mostly carbs, probably less variety as it was during puasa month. Nevertheless, the quality was well maintained. The waiter could use better service as they sit guests according to where they like you to, even if it meant that sitting just at the entrance regardless of guest confort. I blamed it on the guy at the breakfast lounge, as others were kinda ok, albeit not the warmest regards.
Enjoyed my spa on 2nd June, with early booking at 10am. As I've arrived back at my room at 11.40am, we were packing and preparing to go back. The receptionist called the room at 12.10pm, rather rudely. There were no greetings, and the tome which they asked when are we leaving the room in a displeased manner. When told that we would need a bit more time, we were blj tly asked what time, of which I replied 1pm, much to my displeasure of being rushed. Then I was threatened that failure to comply will be charged in a harshful tone, as if we can't afford the fees. I could only felt the vibes that the resort management might have hired staff who are intellectually-impaired or giving preferential treatment to possibly Caucasions over the locals. Either way, it had marred what could have been a comfortable and relaxing stay apart from the what seem to be fit to be a public area janitor rather than hotel service staff.
I worked at the Saujana 27yrs ago when it was under Hyatt. I am surprise on how well maintained the resort is. The rooms would be better if detailed attention was given to the cleanliness. Overall we we're happy and comfortable.
This is a tropical resort. It isn't bad, especially for the price. Great for golfers since the golf course is adjacent to it. Nice spacious grounds creates a relaxed atmosphere.
But the rooms are pretty worn. Carpets and furniture were stained. Fixtures really showed wear and tear. Beds are okay. Not the most comfortable in the world, but not too hard or too soft either.
The buffet breakfast is decent. The swimming pool is oddly shaped, good for lazing and kids (since there is a slide) but not for lap swimming.
I had an overnight stay at the hotel and everything worked well. Courteous staff and pleasant surroundings. Wifi connection strong throughout the facilities. It was helpful that the buildings were connected and I was safe from being drenched during the nightly tropical downpour.
