We were supposed to stay there for a few nights but we ended up to only stay in this so called hotel for only a night. That one night terribly enough for me to see how unethical and ungrateful hotel staff which I believe some of them from managerial level! We’re the local people who have been there due to my partner’s course to attend and we even been invited by the organizer for a few days. The moment we arrived, we’ve been informed that spouse and kids need to bear of any food cost we order. Okay, we dont have a problem and agreed with that. At night we had our buffet dinner at the Charcoal restaurant and the staff took the number of pax. In the morning breakfast too. Later during lunch hour I have informed the staff that we’re came for lunch and I need to pack food for my children as well, as he needs to go to school and I told them to include into our bill. But the moment I browsed the food counter, one staff keep tailing me and remind me to pay. After three times been telling for that, I ask her to let me as their guest to eat first and we have no problem to pay. I was awfully triggered with that and they kept staring to our table like my children and me are beggars! I only had one spoon of rice until one senior staff came to us. He offered us something and I thank him nicely for his gestures. I told him that I lost my appetite since been keep reminding to pay by his staff. I wish he got my message as I spoken with teary eyes. But he was wrongly judged me and left me while I am still talking. With an obnoxious attitude of the senior staff, he slammed the kitchen door loudly and shouted word RUDE which i believes it dedicated to me! Again, all eyes in the restaurant on us! I know their GM was outstation and that’s how his employees done to the mother with small kids. I was crying in the car park due to the incident! I have never been treated that bad in any hotels I have visited except here! Till today, I still remember his name and his face. How could I forget the person who drew such horrendous experience to me especially when my toddler and kid were around! Sometimes I wonder what is the future direction for this kind of staff? To be an asset or liability to the hotel?
Should have non security WI-FI in the lobby. Shuttle bus schedule be like every 15 mins instead of one hour. Also need bigger bus to serve. Should have round trip for every single spot instead of one way tip.
