Naturally wonderful

This was my first stay at Shangri-la KL and I must say I was amazed. The decor is aligned with nature. Loved the greenery and the koi pond. It felt like a nature sanctuary in the heart of the city.
The club lounge was the perfect place to have a romantic evening or a solo breakfast. Wide array of food as well.
Lovely service and friendly service staff. A special shout out to Zie & Feez from the Club Lounge. Wonderful people who are ever so ready to assist.
Absolutely loved my stay here. Will surely be back.

My most favourite hotel ever - what more need I say! Stylish design, spacious and comfortable room, excellent staff, modern facilities, quality amenities, delicious cocktails, beautiful outlook, I will return to KL for longer next time and I will stay at this hotel when I do and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Short break!

Hotel has all you aspect of a 5*star rating with great customer service. Rooms a little dated with dark colored furnishing and drapes. Horizon Club Lounge was great. Attention paid to little details and wide spread of food during evening cocktail. Overall great experience for a short vacation.

Best Place Ever
Reviewed 3 days ago

My wife and I stayed at this hotel at the end of our 2 week tour of Vietnam and Cambodia and have to say it is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in.

From the moment you arrive you are treated like royalty by all the wonderful staff.

We purchased the Horizon Club upgrade which gave us the benefit of limitless afternoon tea between 3-5pm and unlimited cocktails and canapés between 5-7pm.

The food and drink are delicious and although alcoholic drinks are probably a bit pricey outside of these hours, providing you plan your day around these lounge opening hours, it will not be an expensive stay.

The Horizon Club only cost £42 for both of us per night, which was incredible value.

Massive thank you to the staff, who went the extra mile to decorate our bed with roses and left cake and delicious chocolates as a lovely surprise for my wife's birthday.

They even upgraded our room because it was her birthday.

This touches were wonderful, but even without these, the stay would have been amazing. We agreed that it was akin to being on a high end cruise ship and we didn't want to get off!!

We spent a lovely few hours around the pool, where the staff bring you cool flannels, yoghurt ice treats and refreshing mango juice.

Although we didn't use it (we were eating and drinking too much!!), the gym and spa areas looked lovely and clean and well equipped.

We loved this place so much, we only ventured out once during our stay to take a 10 minute walk to the amazing Petrona Towers. You didn't need to walk to the KL Tower, you only had to look up from your sunbed to see this!!

Cannot gush over this place enough and cannot understand how anyone can not review this place as perfect.

It was not even expensive to stay, I think it cost us in the range of £100 a night before the Horizon Club benefits package.

We would recommend to all our friends and family and most definitely all fellow TripAdvisor friends.

Thanks so much for such a wonderful stay, we didn't want to leave.

Easter Day
Reviewed 3 days ago

We have had lunch in Shang Palace today and found the hotel is arranging lot of Easter Day decoration and activity. It look fun and joyful for the kids... However, the activity seem only promoting in the Lemon Garden Cafe... We did not see any notification or signboard while we are having lunch in Shang Palace until the time we saw the clown and rabbit in lobby...
