The Lowdown

With its towering skyscrapers and glittering skyline, Kuala Lumpur maintains a cosmopolitan facade. But push away the impersonal glamour, and you’ll find a melting pot of cultures just under the surface. Hidden streets with glorious street-food stalls, opulent mosques and temples sitting side by side and bustling street markets are just some of the intriguing spots to explore next to the plethora of modern shopping centers.
At ANSA Kuala Lumpur, you’ll be at the heart of it all. The hotel is a five-minute walk from Bukit Bintang Monorail Station, the quickest way to avoid the city’s famous traffic jams, and a short stroll from shopping centers such as Lot 10 and Fahrenheit 88. If you’re looking for a more upscale shopping playground, take another five-minute stroll to Pavilion Shopping Centre and Starhill Gallery. But if you’re here to explore the city’s cultural side, Jalan Alor, famous for its street-food stalls, is just 10 minutes away on foot.

Great place to stay to shop

First time staying at the renovated Ansa, used to stay when it was Piccolo. Polite security and concierge. Convenient Starbucks and lots of eats at Lot 10. Kudos to the housekeeper on the 4th floor Mohd.Lavelu who did a great job cleaning the room - spotless. Only gripe is the rooms vary in size.

Good location for shopping spree

Superb location with affordable price. All the staff especially the bell boy is very helpful & kind.
Booked our room with breakfast but given RM20/person voucher from Starbucks.
Our room view was facing Pavillion, so a bit noisy at night.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay @ Ansa Hotel & definitely will consider this hotel in the future.

Worth the buck! Extremely convenient and great location.

It's been 10 years since my last stay at Bukit Bintang. Took an opportunity to try out ANSA for an annual reunion with my friends from university.

Check in and check out was easy and straightforward. Reception managed to fulfill my request and I was allocated to level 12 facing Pavilion shopping mall as well as Tun Razak Exchange Tower.

Concierge was very attentive and showed me the amenities around the room. It has all the basic amenities that you need and they worked!.

Lastly, the hotel is very close to MRT station (within 100 steps), Starbucks, bubble tea outlets and shopping areas within Bukit Bintang. Made my life so much easier sorting my transport to KL International Airport (via MRT and KLIA Express) and having various hangout spots to hop around with my friends.

Only downturn would be there are some flaws (aesthetic wise) on the fixtures/fittings however that does not affect my review here..

Overall it was value for money during my stay. Worth considering it for second visit and hoping they will keep the pricing reasonable in a long run.

Stayed here last year and came back in Feb for another stay. Service was good during my previous stay with my family but it went down a bit this time. I decided to check with them if I wanted to extend my stay, could I get the same rate as I paid online. Apparently this hotel doesn’t follow or allows guest to extend the rate under the same rate. I’ve been in the hotel industry for almost 5 years. I know that it’s possible to give but why tell me without even checking the system first? Isn’t that how it suppose to be done? Chek first before telling the guest?

had a great experienced from previous stay (march 2019) so we decided to choose ansa again. booked through booking.com , asked for connecting room on 10th floor. checked in process was a breeze.our rooms were on left row which we later found out they were very noisy than previous visit on right row rooms, noise from cars honked since early morning , noise of crunhed plastic / throwed things from cleaning staff across room, noise of running water from neighbour who probably use the basin/shower. even the door hinge from the shower case made loud noise which need to be repair as the door can not close properly so made the water leaked out of the case and wet the floor.

indeed this hotel had a great superb location.the staff also friendly and helpful.given chocolates as the compliments made our day.
