I can’t express enough how amazing our holiday at Qualia was, it was just what we needed. It is simply the best resort we have stayed at anywhere in the world.

The customer service is exceptional. The Pavilion we stayed in was gorgeous, beautiful, comfortable we even had our own ice machine for those beautiful complimentary juices on our private deck. The views are stunning a mixture of tropical gardens and ocean. The pavilions are so private and we just loved having our own golf buggy to get around the island and resort.

The staff are so warm and efficient and nothing is ever too much trouble.

The Pebble Beach pool area is spectacular and I lost my breath every time I walked into the long pavilion the view is so sensational.

If you want to live the luxury life and escape the world in paradise, I can’t recommend Qualia enough. It’s perfect we can’t wait to return.

Excellent honeymoon/couple destination as children are not allowed in this resort.
Views are stunning, you get a golf car for your entire stay to explore the island and get around.
The check in experience is very relaxed and unlike anywhere else we’ve been.
The staff are SUPERBLY friendly, and very efficient and flexible at arranging activities and recommending places and just organizing your whole stay.
Villas are impeccable, exceeded all our expectations.
A true 6 star experience.

Outstanding Location, Location, Location!!!!

We have just returned from a marvellous holiday in Australia & visiting the Qualia resort on Hamilton Island in the first weeks set a very high template for the rest of our trip.
Our expectations were very high after previously visiting other resorts in the Luxury Lodges of Australia portfolio & we were not disappointed!!!
We stayed in a North facing Windward pavilion & were very pleased that we had chosen the Gourmet half board package having dinner every evening in one of the two restaurants in Qualia; three evenings in the Pebble Beach restaurant & twice in the Long Pavilion.
It is also possible to dine out in one of the many other restaurants on Hamilton island instead but with Pebble Beach being an outstanding restaurant (probably the best on the island) offering a selection of 6 course tasting menus, it would have to be for a special reason. Guests wishing to dine out at various venues in the evenings would get better value by taking a Classic Bed & Breakfast package & pay extra for evening meals. The Qualia team are also always available to drop-off & pick-up guests at any venue/restaurant ion Hamilton during the day or evenings if you prefer not to use your buggy or if you wish to consume alcohol drinks.
Qualia is a resort with high standards & isn’t showing any signs of age, wear or tear since it was built in 2007 & renovated in 2018. Everything is perfect and pristine, including the gardens & grounds that are lovely to walk around during the day & early evenings prior to the marvellous sunsets that can be seen from many vantage points.
We would recommend staying in a Windward pavilion because the views are amazing but it is still worth phoning Guest Services on +617479489222 to discuss preferences.
Pavilion 23 is great for viewing sunsets, 24 is close to Pebble Beach restaurant & swimming pools & guests may wish to avoid being too close to the Heli Pad on the site?
Our pavilion also had excellent WiFi Broadband Internet access & we were able to listen to our favourite BBC IPlayer stations/programs or various music loaded on our phones using ITunes & the Bluetooth facilities in the pavilion.
The staff were all very approachable & are very keen to make our stay very special in every way & we would also try to do the following before visiting a Windward pavilion again.
1. Reserve a pavilion for at least 4 days.
2. Arrange for steps to get in & out of the plunge pool.
3. Reserve a table for several evenings in the Pebble Beach restaurant; it is closed on Tuesday & Wednesday.
4. Reserve another visit to Whitehaven Beach on Qualia’s cruiser to swim before having champagne & an impressive lunch served on board.
5. Reserve places on one of the Talk & Taste classes held at 16.00hrs most days.
6. Keep early Thursday evening free because the Sunset Drinks & nibbles in the Long Pavilion was a great opportunity to meet other guests.
7. Arrange a visit to Dent Island, even if you don’t want to play golf.
We had a wondrous time largely due to everyone on the Qualia's team & would like to visit again in 2020.

I dream of Qualia nightly
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

This was our second trip to Qualia.
It was our mini-moon and we unfortunately only got to stay 3 nights this time.

We never want to leave when we get there. The van trip back to the airport generally involves neither my husband or myself talking. We just sit in silence, both trying to work out ways we can extend the trip just a few more days.

We first stayed here in February 2018 and then again in October 2018.

The first trip we stayed in a Windward Pavillion and the second trip we stayed in a Leeward (only because there was no Windward pavilion available).
And I must say, the Leeward pavilions were still quite lovely, but we wouldn't go again if they were the only rooms available, we would wait for Windward availability.
The Windward pavilions are just that much better, they're well worth the extra money.

Don't get me wrong, the Leeward are still the same from the outside, and are gorgeous inside, with beautiful oversized bathrooms and have all the same ammenities, but the views and pools in the Windward pavilions are unparalleled.
We found we didn't even open the curtains in the Leeward pavilion, and headed to the pool as soon as breakfast was done. Where as in the Windward we spent time laying in bed watching the view, drinking in the private pool, and sunbaking on the private deck.

I could spend all day writing about how wonderful our experiences have been at Qualia.
In fact, we got our inspiration for our Wedding from our first stay there.
We were using the gym, which is down overlooking the water at Pebble Beach, and we reached into the fridge to get some cold hand towels, and they smelt like bubble gum, or some beautiful flower. Who thinks to do that. To scent the cold towels in the gym.
This was some next level witchcraft.
From here we were hooked.

The whole stay begins with being whisked off the plane into an already running van (so they can have the air-conditioner going) and you're swiftly handed water and told to not even think about your bags. And the funny thing is, you don't. Your bags are now the furtherest thing from you mind.
Upon entering the Jurassic World like gates, and driving up the stunning tropical garden paths, you're already in love with Qualia before you've even set your feet onto its grounds.

But let me warn you, when you get out of the van and walk up the path to the entry hall, have your camera near by. The view will take your breath away, and you'll want to start documenting your stay immediately.
But you won't have long, because your allocated staff member is immediately there, guiding you to a private lounge area, champagne bottle in hand.
You're then talked through everything Qualia has to offer you during your stay.
And lucky you're drink in hand, because you'd be thirsty by the time they've finished running you through everything, there's just so much to do.

And then you're up and off to your very own golf cart which you drive to your own little secluded house. You haven't even parked your cart in your driveway and you're whisked into your new home away from home, and if you're in one of the Windward pavilions, have that camera ready again.
The views are so stunning, the people back home won't believe you.

Your golf buggy is yours for the stay, and you can use it to get around the resort (which has a few hills), to and from the Pebble Beach pool, to and from breakfast, and then out onto Hamilton Island itself and into town to the restaurants and shops.

There's an in resort spa, and 2 restaurants (one of which is where you'll head for breakfast every morning).

There's 2 swimming pools on top of your own private one if you're in a Windward.

The resort itself is Adults only, which is heaven sent. And boy are the adults doing some serious 'adulting.' Everyone looks next level relaxed.

The pool service is fabulous, with drinks and poolside snacks being served through the day, even while you're IN the pool.

We also opted for the lunch cruise to Whitehaven beach, which was a beautiful experience.

We've also tried a couple fo times to have the private beach drop off, but unfortunately weather has stopped us both times.

Being that I've never stayed anywhere else on Hamilton Island I'm not able to comment on if this is a Qualia thing, or an entire island thing, but everything on the island can be charged back to your room. As in everything (except the IGA supermarket).
It's an amazing thing, to not have to take your wallet with you.

I'm sure I've forgotten lots of the things about this spectacular dream of a resort, but I'll hopefully be back again extremely soon to remind myself.

I cannot recommend this resort enough. You have not fully 'Adulted' until you've stayed at Qualia.

Best relaxing getaway for a couple

We had an amazing time at qualia with my husband in the middle of December. Got picked up by friendly staff at airport, straight from plane into car, our luggage was taken care off and taken straight to our room. We enjoyed few glasses of champagne while waiting to be checked in. Staff was professional, friendly and helpful at all times. We tried the signature Tasting Menu at Pebble Beach at qualia, worth it! Also went for couple massage & relaxed by the pool. Room was very tidy, we received box of chocolate & welcome sparkling wine for my birthday. No faults or negative experience, it was just perfect and definitely returning one day 💝
