How to Get There
I booked this hotel as the reviews were on the most part excellent.
We booked a cabin and I can only comment about the cabin and not the rooms in the main house.
The bed was very uncomfortable, we could hear the main house air condition unit the whole night and the blinds were letting in a lot of light. It was a sleepless night.
Rated a 10! The Inn at Thorn Hill & Spa is the epitome of a quality get away in the North Country. It is as quaint as a New England Bed & Breakfast, yet thoughtfully upscale accommodations with a bar, dining room and a spa! We enjoyed daily breakfast outside on the porch with a view of the Mount Washington. Diner accommodations were fantastic as well.
If you were on the go... (which we were not) they had coffee and muffins ready. The Inn also cooked up a fresh batch of cookies in the afternoon!
The room was nicely outfitted with antique furniture and a gas fireplace. The spa tub was a great compliment for the end of the day and the bed was comfortable. Speaking of the spa, we had a couple massage on our last day. Our checkout time was graciously extended on the final day. We couldn't have departed more relaxed.
Steve took care of everything we needed and answered any questions that we had. Such enjoyable interactions!
The Inn is very clean and the meals at their restaurant were terrific and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We had room 202 which had a view of the the white mountains. In the evenings we sat on the wrap around porches with cocktails just enjoying nature and life. I can't wait to return.
