We wanted a quiet, beautiful hotel to chase away the winter blues. This hotel was perfect. Amazing coffee in the lobby every morning, delicious breakfast, great sunset views, kind & happy staff, amazing massage by Caroline, poolside lunch, no crowds, close to town, quiet & peaceful. Highly recommended!!

Best Birthday! Best place on Earth!

I had the best birthday week ever at the Cliff! My room was decorated with birthday balloons, birthday banner and personalized birthday greetings from various staff.

I have been here several times since the it has opened. If I could visit once a month, I would.

The place is simply the best. Best views in Negril. Best staff in Negril. They cater to your every whim! Best place to relax. I am so sad every time I must leave!

I cannot wait until my next visit.

Heaven on earth

My husband and I spent the 2nd half of our Jamaica trip at this hotel and wish we did the whole time! This luxurious slice of paradise is incredibly magical and it resonates unpretentious luxury in every sense. The Cliff sent a private driver to pick us up from my Montego Bay hotel and transported us with stops as we wished. Very comfortable and safe. The check in process was smooth and warm… you don’t get lost in the mad house of an all-inclusive here! This resort is intimate as it only has 33 rooms and you are treated as if you’re their only guest. They escorted us to our room & familiarize us with everything inside of it. We stayed in a deluxe junior suite oceanfront and didn’t want to leave. The bed is comfy and room is gigantic! The bathroom was also quite large and comfortable. Loved having a hamper in the bathroom. I don’t know why more hotels don’t do that as it’s incredibly practical. The balcony was gigantic and we loved the hammock swing. The main part of the hotel feels like you’re in a historic elegant plantation.
Then O’Neil gave us a property tour. The grounds are incredibly breathtaking… You will get one incredible sunset after another as we are on the cliffs of the westernmost tip of the island where the best sunsets are seen! The food & drinks are absolutely delicious. The staff at Zest are incredibly warm and remember you and your preferences after your first visit. We didn’t have a single item here that we didn’t like. The natural sea water pool has a motor that pulls water in straight from the sea constantly and was our favorite amenity at this hotel. It is straight out of a fairytale. You can dive into the Caribbean Sea from the cliffs very easily and the snorkeling is incredible. Darren also known as the “skinny sniper” is the lifeguard and will help you orient you to the waters… he’s so charming and genuinely helpful, not trying to make a dime out of all their assistance. DC front just landscaping is quite remarkable… Don’t expect to be at a hotel where are you reserve your seat with your towels. Because at this resort is so intimate there is no stress of securing a place to sunbathe which we LOVED! Don’t expect to be at a hotel where are you reserve your lounger with your towels. Yes there is no beach. Yes, you are waterfront. You can take a day trip to the 7 mile beach that’s close by and experience that and retreat to this tropical haven. The staff are so attentive and cater to your every wish.
You can’t go wrong with the cliff hotel. We were bummed when the Rockhouse was booked but were BEYOND pleased with our experience here and look forward to coming back just to stay this magical hotel again.

Hotel is gem - but don’t stay I a room near reception

This is truly an incredible hotel. It’s situated right on the cliffs of Negril at the west end of the island. It’s a quaint small town that was once a farming and fishing community and now caters nicely to tourists.

The Cliff Hotel is easily the most private, elegant hotel in the area boasting incredible grounds, a wonderful restaurant and a lovely staff.

There is a natural coral pool that takes in sea water and makes for a perfect relaxing soak without going into the sea off the cliffs.

You can dive off the cliffs and swim or snorkel near the hotel for a look at some underwater wildlife. Over all a total recommend based on staff, location and food.

One small warning- if your room is near reception, don’t expect to sleep past 6am as cleaning personnel and the arrival of staff congregating there in the morning makes sleeping past that time nearly impossible and many many complaints about this changed nothing and even multiple requests for a room change went basically ignored. They would profess to be looking into it but nothing came of it.

It’s a nice hotel but wait for specials on room rates to make it actually a good value.

Beyond excellent!

Gorgeous!!! I would never be able to afford such a paradise in the States. I feel so blessed that I got to stay here. The staff took care of us like we were family. We felt so cared for. They were also super fun and always available to cliff dive with us, help us with fun plans, or make us an impeccable drink. My birthday vacation could not have been better and so much had to do with the staff at the Cliff Hotel. Our room, the grounds, and original artwork couldn't have been more lovely. I adored the huge porch and porch hammock that came with each room. I can't than it's staff enough for a stellar experience and I'd love to come back.
