AMAZING VACATION!
Reviewed 6 hours ago

Just recently got back from our trip to Sandals Negril with my wife. This was our second visit to a Sandals Resort. First off, do yourself a favor and do the Butler Service. It is well worth it! Every morning brought coffee/fruit to the room and set up our spot on the beech with a cooler full of drinks. From there checked on us day and night to bring us whatever we needed and even walked us to dinner each night and sat us at a table they reserved for us. It was unbelievable. Shemoy was our main Butler. He's been at the resort for over a decade and we know why. He was beyond amazing and went above and beyond to make our trip amazing. Also, we were lucky enough to get Oshane for 2 days. He was with Shemoy training to become a Butler. Oshane ABSOLUTELY made our trip. He is going to be phenomenal! One of the nicest people we have ever met. Once he is promoted, request them both if you can!
We got to have Trevon as our Butler for the day when we were at the Cabanas. He was great! Best photographer, hands down, Martin! He did a great job and we purchased a lot of his pictures to remember the trip. Food was outstanding. Sundowner had one of the best steaks I ever had, Italian Restaurant and Hibachi were the best. Hard to decide. Everything was so good including Barefoot for breakfast. We stayed in the Honeymoon Beachfront Two Story One Bedroom Butler Villa Suite w/Tranquility Soaking Tub and I highly recommend it! Amazing views and amenities.

Family Vacation
Reviewed 9 hours ago

This was a family vacation for us, however, only my husband and I stayed at Sandals while our children and grandkids stayed at beaches. We started off with an oceanfront room on the beach on the 2nd floor. Went out on the balcony and we had a great view of some trees so we asked to be moved to the 3rd floor and they did accommodate us. This was our 3rd trip to this resort. There is a lot of seaweed in the ocean so be careful walking in it. We didnt remember the seaweed being that bad on our previous trips there. The staff is very friendly however we did have a minor issue in the resort shop with a purchase we made. My husband bought a pair of sandals in there and the employee that helped him said they cost $58. We are diamond level members and had a coupon to receive 12.5% off our purchase. Our final cost of the shoes were $56 and change. We didnt think anything about it until we were looking at our receipt back in the room. They had charged us $65 and change for the sandals. We went back to the shop the next day and explained our situation to them. They found another pair like my husband bought and they were tagged for $58 as well. In the system they rang up higher due to a price increase but were not on the sticker. The shop would not honor the sticker price. The lady in the office acted like she didnt want to be bothered with it and didnt come out to speak with us. We normally buy stuff from the shop but with this incident we will not be purchasing from the gift shop anymore. That was the only negative experience we had this trip. Dale the photographer was great. He took some really good photos for us. We spent alot of time over at Beaches since our family was staying there. Some days we walked back and forth as it is only a 25 minute walk along the beach. In the evenings we would take a cab and it cost $10 each way. If you get a chance check out Beaches as they have some good restaurants there as well. The beach there is free of seaweed. We booked another trip with Janine from the loyalty desk but will be traveling to Sandals Southcoast for that trip.

Twelve Days of Paradise

Our sixth trip to Sandals Negril was fantastic. Each year our experience gets better! We snorkeled, dove, took a private boat tour of the caves, and relaxed, relaxed and relaxed some more. The wonderful people we met on the resort (Denato, Big Sean, Little Sean, Terry-Anne,Pamela, Evon, Kendra, Kamola, Chris, Juliet, Mardio, Romario, Sanjay and many more) made our stay even more special. Thanks also go to the wonderful people on the beach who sang birthday greetings to my wife, you made her day memorable.

We went to Sandals on 24 June 2019, and it was absolutely brilliant. The hotel was amazing. Everyone was so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We would like to give a special thanks to the following people, Sandra in the bar, what an amazing lady, Itori in the French and Bay restaurant, even when she wasn't serving us she made sure we were OK. Pauline, Cadienne, Clovette in the Barefoot restaurant were lovely and made us feel very special every time we went in. Nickisha and Iain in the Sundowner were very friendly and always welcomed us back with a big smile. The Japanese restaurant was brilliant, we sat with 3 other couples and had such a laugh and Paul who cooked our meal was just so funny, we sang and laughed our way through it, plus his meal was delicious.

We went on a fantastic boat trip to the caves and Ricks cafe, Odayne and Lucien took us and they made sure it was a trip to remember. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Demoy from watersports was always so friendly and helpful. Again, nothing was too much trouble.

We would also like to thank Kavien who served us cocktails on the beach every day, always with a great big smile.

Last but not least, we would like to thank Paul, Head of Housekeeping for his care during our stay.

It was our Silver Wedding anniversary and we had such an amazing time. It went far too fast and we look forward to when we can come back. Thank you to you all for making it a perfect holiday.

Personal space that’s well kept, well appointed and assistance as needed - even without asking, makes vacationing really worth it! Hope to get Andrene each time we come (this is our 3rd time!). When we needed assistance, even during the “wet smiles” Andrene was eager to assist. Whether extra towels, extra water, how to make reservations, whatever we needed, she was quick to help - all with a smile and patience.
