How to Get There
We went to CSA for the first time in October. We had arranged to have our wedding there (on the beach) and genuinely the whole experience was perfect. We had an atrium room which was gorgeous and very close to Palms, Lemongrass and the martini bar. Staff were wonderful throughout and really looked after us. We enjoyed the catamaran cruise from the hotel (which was free) and also used their shuttle to Ricks cafe.
We spent most of our time on the beach with gorgeous sand and sea. Always managed to find loungers (no matter what time of day).
Food was exquisite. Lemongrass was our favourite restaurant and we only ate at the buffet once in the entire two weeks. Drinks were plentiful and all top shelf. If you asked for Jack Daniels and Grey Goose, that’s what you got. We loved the piano bar in the evening. That man was so talented.
Wi-fi worked really well, even as far as the beach. It was the hotels 21st birthday whilst we were there and they had a brilliant party.
I can’t think the hotel enough. Our wedding and honeymoon was truly magical.
We had another great vacation while at couples, great food, great weather.
This was our 6th year and looking ahead to next year for number 7. We love going in October
the water is so warm. Love going on all the excursions.and most of all just relaxing.
We have been to all 4 Couples, and for the last 3 years, we have returned to CSA. We never returned twice to any of the other couples mainly because we love the Sports Complex. Their tennis courts and clinics/lessons are absolutely amazing. Guest pros teach the clinics, while the local pros do the lessons. The crew work really hard to dry the courts after the many showers that we experienced during our stay. We went the last week of October, and experienced many tropical rains, so we will probably go back to the mid November dates that we have gone in previous years as the rain was not such an issue at that time. Food was amazing as usual, we really loved all the fresh salads and fruit served at "The Palms", and the Patois breakfasts are great. "Feathers" did not disappoint, their servers are so well trained, always polite and efficient. We ate many lunches at "The Cabana", food is consistent as is the service. They still have a nasty problem with the wasps around the pop machine, but no one stung, it is just a little unnerving. The "Repeaters Dinner" is the only part that does not measure up to the other Couple Resorts. The food was great, but the other resorts had draws for prizes and acknowledged people who were repeaters of many years. They would mention the couple with the most repeater years who were present, and it was a nice recognition for them. Also the managers cocktail party was a bit of a bust this year...very few managers came to the party, I am not sure why this happened, but it was not well attended by staff or visitors. Perhaps more announcements should be posted in the lobby to remind people of the events. I am not sure why they ask you to pick your bar items for your room prior to arriving because for the last two years, they have not been brought to our room until the next day. There were a few mess ups with our in room breakfast service, but overall they were delivered on time.
Overall it was an excellently holiday, however, nothing is usually perfect in life, and this trip was no different, but nothing that happened was a deal breaker. I hope criticism and suggestions help the management make this an even more amazing place to holiday.
