Wild coastlines, safaris teeming with ambling elephants and the biggest concentration of leopards in the world, tropical seas with blue whales and spinner dolphins, Sri Lanka is an untamed Eden waiting to be experienced. Once a Dutch colony, the country has also retained its colonial architecture, lush tea plantations and love for cricket. Grown into its own, Colombo is a vibrant city rich in heritage and culture.
All of Sri Lanka’s wonders can be experienced with a stay at the luxe Anantara Kalutara Resort. The resort sits surrounded by water – between the golden sands of Sri Lanka’s coastline and a peaceful lagoon of the Kalu Ganga River. The resort’s design was inspired by the vision of Geoffrey Bawa – Sri Lanka’s most famous architect. Elegant with modern interiors and touches of traditional motifs bring a sense of peace and tranquility to the spectacular property.
Relaxation is the order of the day here. Dream away in your comfortable lagoon-view rooms, take languid dips in the outdoor pool, get a massage at the Anantara Spa or take excursions through some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.
How to Get There
Ananthara Kaluthara Resort, Sri lanka, is one of the best resorts i have experienced. It provides all the means of comfort in every sense of the word, especially the wellness and spa centre were you find the most luxurious services, the team of therapists is very professional and especially the therapist ms. Komang. She is very professional, serious, punctual, friendly with customers, and she knows her work very well. For myself I give her the full mark in her work 100%.
Thank you Komang
Hospitality was good.... staff were very courteous...
In case of emergency a well equipped first aid kit was given and taken good care of... with food I would say it’s very everage quality.... most of meat did not taste fresh and menu selection were very limited... Since we stayed at the pool villa it was much spacious than other rooms but certainly Not really value for money...
From every angle it is a great experience. Good service, friendly staff and everything you want from a good resort. It will be a memorable trip. I took deluxe poolside room which is very convenient if you want easy access to swimming pool. There are two pools - one is adults only in the ocean wing and one is open for everyone and this is a big one too in the lagoon wing. If you are coming with kids do take room in lagoon wing only and if you are only couple then anywhere. 2 nights minimum required to enjoy the property.
