Took my breath away

We were treated like royalty from the moment we stepped out of the kombi and the personnel went out of their way to make us feel welcome and pampered (especially Tatum). We enjoyed the eight course tasting dinner and it was out of this world. The chef's enthusiasm was delightful and he answered all our questions patiently. Having a roaring fire in our room when we returned from dinner was also a nice touch (and very welcome in winter). The view is spectacular and the beds so comfortable. This is the place to go to when you need to spoil yourself.

I have been very very fortunate to have stayed twice at this piece of heaven but today’s review is on our breakfast day visit as not everyone will be lucky enough to spend a night , so this is the next best thing .

From your very entrance to the parking area you feel another world away, park your car and be shuttled down to the magical spot .

The views are breathtaking even on a winters morning it was spectacular. As for the breakfast I don’t have the words to eloquently describe it, but make sure you don’t have any other plans as you want to spend as many hours as you can enjoying the scrumptious food and soaking up the spectacular ambiance .

The staff are incredibly friendly and very professional .

It really is a must do ..

A slice of heaven

I surprised my husband with a night away to celebrate his 30th birthday. Our room, Java, was right over the beach. Beautiful purple and blue to blend in with the perfection of the ocean.

This spot is incredible as every room is right over the beach. We had perfect weather with not a breath of wind. The bathroom has the same full ocean view. Thanks to the borehole we also got to have a gorgeous bath!

Extra special touches with complimentary sparkling wine on arrival in our room and a whole chocolate cake specially made by the chef to indulge even more. Dinner was a feast, chef even took the time to chat to us about special dietary requirements.

As it is a boutique hotel, you really get the personal touch and staff are very attentive.

This spot is top of the list in terms of couples experiences. We highly recommend it if you are looking for a romantic, ocean escape.

Celebrated a big birthday at Tinswalo Atlantic, such a beautiful, romantic setting right on the ocean with nothing else around you! Loved the fireplace in the rooms and the amazing view from the deck, perfect escape to a magical hideaway. Also had a superb dinner in the restaurant, Melissa, Ryno and all of the staff very warm and accommodating, making our stay very special.

Peaceful luxury

No matter how excellent the service, decor and food of a resort is (and Tintswalo is excellent in all those departments), what really makes an experience special is environment. And you really can't beat going to sleep with the sea crashing against the rocks outside, or treating yourself in the morning to one of the excellent coffees (made with the machine in your room) as you watch the dawn break over the bay. Lovely experience, peaceful - and a special mention to the very tasty food, made with ingredients that nod to the environment around you.
