A wonderful stay in Cape Town. The staff were really lovely and so helpful - organised a courier to pick up stuff we had left in our previous hotel and helped us with trips. Our room was actually a suite of rooms with a bathroom , living room, bedroom and storage cupboard - all was clean, very well done and stylish. Great breakfast and a garden with pool and bar service. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want to be close to the waterfront. A home from home.

Wonderful Unique Boutique Hotel

Wonderful hotel for our 20th wedding anniversary trip to Cape Town. The hotel is small. The rooms are large with high ceilings, that feel like the guest rooms of a very wealthy harbor master. It is unique. It fits the boutique image, and no ordinary hotel room. Luxurious furnishings, luxurious towels in a spacious beautiful bathroom, all sparkling clean. Great location just overlooking Cape Town’s signature V&A waterfront, with all the dining, shopping, street entertainers and music that are only a few steps away. Tabea and the whole staff made us feel right at home (if I had a home as nice as this). Breakfast was included and delicious. Boutique snacks on the shelf in the library, but they carry some risk that you could get caught with your hand in the cookie jar. What a nice touch!. It was perfect for our anniversary. We loved staying there. I will jump at the chance to stay at the Dock House again.

Heart warming experience

2 weeks ago we visited Capetown and stayed in the Dock House boutique hotel. It is a small place with just 6 rooms. But the ambiance is great and the people were very involved. They recommended us quite a lot of very good restaurants and we enjoyed lots of sun at the beautiful pool area. We stayed in room 5 which has a big balcony were we enjoyed a glass of wine during sunset, beautiful experience. Everyone should visit this place!

Comfortable, central ( adjacent to buzzy atmosphere of Victoria & Albert Docks with many restaurants)and friendly staff with a lovely manager, Tabea.

We spent six nights there in January in a room overlooking Table Mountain We would certainly return.

We stayed here during what we thought would be the busiest time of the year in late november, early December. We were planning on staying elsewhere but through a good friends recommendation we decided to go on a whim and stay here at the Dock House hotel, and must I say did we not regret it one bit. One of the most personalized hotel I've ever stayed in. . .and I've been to a few all over. You are greeted from the moment you get out the car with smiling faces and words of happiness as if they've been waiting just for you all along. Which I very quickly realized they were. We were greeted by name and immediately I felt welcomed. The Manager got us by the door and she gave us a thorough introduction to the hotel and all its the facilities and added benefits that they offer, we were shown to the pool bar and the pool and was told breakfast we could have at any 3 of their properties, that was something that no other place offered so we were quite impressed.
The room we were shown into was spacious and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, it was the hardest thing getting out of the next morning. Staff was always so warm and welcoming, they would greet whenever you pass by no matter they've done it before, when we can back they would even ask how our day went.
Breakfast was beautifully laid out in a cold buffet style, then theres even a hot breakfast menu which could be served even in our room which seemed to be of no extra effort for the staff, as they were quick and efficient

All in all it was a beautiful experience as its a perfect location, so close to the waterfront itself, so happy I decided to stay, one of the best hotels I've been to so far
Only good things to say about this hotel
