Nice place
Reviewed 2 days ago

It is a nice hotel, staff is courteous. Rooms are spacious. Restaurants and bars located in hotel are good. Can be a bit on the expensive side vs what you get with other luxury hotels. You feel like you are just paying for the name. Room service seemed over priced.

Relax at the Lounge
Reviewed 1 week ago

I’ve stayed at the hotel many times in the past with out of town family members who were here on business . I always have found the rooms and accommodations were of the high quality that comes with the name.
Tonight, for a special birthday of a friend, I suggested we go to their lobby bar area, The Lounge, since the forty- second floor bar with great views of the county and beyond, where we used to hang, is now just for private events.
The “ birthday girl” had never been in a Ritz-Carlton anywhere and was thrilled with the setting of The Lounge and the ambiance provided by the staff, especially our server, Dudley. He was knowledgeable re: the bar food and libations and was as professional, courteous, and friendly as anyone could want.
Besides a bottle of a smooth red wine, dirty martinis, and procesó based drinks, our choices of cheese platter and fig/ prosuito flatbread for snacking were fresh and delicious. ( And the kitchen sent out an extra appetizer on the house for our celebration-so nice).
So, if you are in White Plains for business or pleasure and need a comfortable, inviting place to have a good drink and light bite by yourself or with friends, take advantage of The Ritz-Carlton Lounge.

Could Be Better

As expected,it was very expensive, not only the room rate, but breakfast too. My husband and I had the buffet breakfast, and after tax and tip it came to $80! Although there were free water bottles and coffee in the room, there were also items for sale at exorbitant prices- M&Ms for $6,water bottles also for $6, etc. Although our room was over $400 a night, we had a terrible view from our room- the backs of buildings. Don't stay there unless you want to throw your money away- it sounds a lot better than it really is.

Beautiful rooms, fairly priced, in a wonderful area close to top-notch shopping and restaurants. And, most importantly, FABULOUS SERVICE! A special shoutout to Assistant Manager Alicia, who will do anything and everything within her ability to make your stay the best ever! And thanks, also, to Vanessa, a server in the lounge, who turns every meal into a fun event. Exceptional experience in every way. Try it! You will be glad you did.

Quite Good

Obviously a high-end hotel, but better than other Ritz Carlton's (like the one in Philly).

The staff in the restaurant are good, and make the experience feel right.

The only downside is that there isn't a common space that has a relaxed feel. The lobby is the restaurant, and so it's usually pretty crowded.

Workout room and pool area is nice.
