How to Get There
We stayed there last nite.was so disappointed that they no longer have coffee makers in the rooms, microwaves or mini fridges.U have to go down to the Casino in order to get coffee after breakfast.Soda is free but in a tiny cup, maybe two sips,Water in the room by ice bucket was $6 a bottle.Ice maker on 2nd floor didn’t work right.Wouldnt recommend staying there
Where to begin...took an hour and twenty minutes, over fifty people in line, at check in, even the doorman was turning other couples away and told them that the casino had a shuttle that would pick them up at the nearby hotels. The room was alright but they had removed the coffee makers and the mini bars from the rooms. The machines were not paying off at all and I spoke with several other people who were not having any luck as well. The band at Louie’s was twenty minutes late and the band started playing and the singers did not show up until later. The breakfast had no chef and I have never seen black bananas served before. When we were checking out the clerk acted as though we were joking when we asked to pay cash for our room, like we were making her go out of her way to check us out. Maybe the new owners should start caring about their return customers instead of their profits.
This is a Nice place to stay - Rooms are Nice & roomy - you have the Casino & I think also a Race Track to have Fun at & in the morning they serve a Very Nice made to order breakfast. I would Recommend.
I'm not sure what's going on but things have really gone downhill lately. Hotel is nice but they no longer accept kids. Breakfast is not cooked to order anymore. If you like betting on dogs, they took the bar and table games out and it's like a ghost town in that section. They took out the buffet and put the table games there. The restaurant next to it have fewer items on their menu and didn't update their website to reflect that. The bar next to it was closed also. Superbowl on the big screen was reservation only. Slots are tighter than any I've ever seen. I used to enjoy going there. Not anymore!!
Even with a reservation check-in is a little slow however this is a lovely hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and lots of convenient plugs for your chargers. There is a safe in the room for your laptop or other valuables. The only thing lacking is coffee in the room although it is served at the elevator lobby until 10 a.m. and there is no refrigerator in the room. They have a very nice breakfast however since our last trip there 6 months ago the quality of breakfast has deteriorated. They used to fix omelettes but they are no longer available. There are friendly bellman to help you check in or out. All the staff was very friendly. The hotel has very easy access with a bridge connected directly to the casino.
