How to Get There
If I could share with you my experience. Sadly I have to say, although previous stays were great, the last visit was appalling.
On arrival we arrived an hour early (2pm) so reception suggested go to the bar!
Met a lovely group of ladies, some were allowed to check in,had been using full use of spa! In bath robes, however some of the group not!!
My partner sat on a stool that almost collapsed at the bar
Another couple tried fixing the bar rest the other side of bar ( near window) as had fell apart
I felt baffled to why some people ( without booked spa treatments, yet on exactly the same deal were allowed to use spa over others?????
We then got in the lift after spa to get ready only to get stuck in a lift!!!
We called to get help, however it took ages, made worse when it had happened before that evening!
The towel ring fell off in bathroom. To be fair, it started to feel like faulty towers!!
Raised my concerns with duty manager, who offered me bubbly on my next stay!!!
I then emailed Rachel with my complaint. Unfortunately I don’t think she understood Any of my concerns.
It hurts as many times before I have had great experience, however the last stay was absolutely shocking!

We recently visited Moor Hall, where we have stayed on a couple of occasions now, for an afternoon tea with our son, daughter-in-law and 3 month old granddaughter. We were very impressed with the level of service we received from 'Lady George' . She looked after us very well and was most helpful in assisting us with our plans for a future booking we had made at the hotel. Her customer service skills are certainly an asset to Moor Hall.
Booked a Jacuzzi room at More hall for my wife's birthday including breakfast and evening meal.Treated well by the wonderful staff in the bar restaurant and reception breakfast and dinner was lovely.Did have a problem with the Jacuzzi and reported this to reception the matter was dealt with by the operation manager Hugh Boyd in a professional manner and to my satisfaction resulting in a wonderful stay. Hopefully i will returning to celebrate my birthday in May
Very enjoyable treat served in the lounge ensuring the experience was nice and relaxed. Our waitress was very attentive & the Happy birthday plate at the end was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.
Me and my partner stayed here on a Sunday evening for his birthday and was welcomed with a birthday card, cake pop and a warming welcome.
We were also surprised to of being given a four poster bedroom with lovely views on the ground floor :) which was a lovely touch.
From the food, service, spa, staff, facilities and room we would give it 10/10
& shall definitely be returning
Thankyou for a lovely stay :)
