The 35-acre oceanfront resort offers a spectacularly beautiful backdrop with two distinct beaches, cliffside pools, and killer ocean views at every turn, whether you are getting a spa treatment or eating breakfast at Coba. Rooms are done in soothing tones with gold accents, and oversized bathrooms in travertine marble with deep soaking tubs and separate showers. Villas, set by the quieter Barnes Bay beach, offer a distinct experience from the rest of the resort: the Four-Bedroom Villas are roomy at over 4,700 square feet with a central living space, kitchen, dining area, and four ensuite bedrooms laid out to ensure privacy. If you can tear yourself away from your private pool and view, head down to the Half Shell Beach Bar for lobster rolls and a Dean Supreme Cocktail. Anguilla is known as much for its restaurants as its beaches, and many of the island’s best foodie spots are can be reached by walking from the Four Seasons down Mead’s Bay beach. Be sure to visit the French-Caribbean restaurant Jacala, loved for its candlelit Moroccan-inspired backdrop, or the cheery, beachfront Straw Hat. If you only go to one restaurant on your stay, make it Blanchard’s for food you will be dreaming about on your return flight back. At the far end of the mile-long beach is the cliffside resort Malliouhana—a lovely spot for a sunset cocktail.
