How to Get There
Very nice with a unique feel for a hotel located within an urban area as the entire facility is designed and decorated with as a mountain style lodge. A nice touch is that they even pipe the sound of chirping birds throughout the hallways (it's not loud). The staff was very friendly and outgoing. Rooms are a decent size and well-appointed and the shower in the bathroom was quite large (which I loved). The food in the restaurant was exceptional. The price of the room was reasonable, but the prices in the onsite restaurant and lounge were a bit pricey. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
Great staff - great comfy place with many extras. Love the large balcanies, jetted bath - jacuzi - very comfy bath latge size to relax in, leather furniture, very large front Room. It was nice to be able to relax and feel comfortable after a long days work especially since I was sick. Highly recommend.
Heathman is a very nice hotel and the staff is great...but it's close to the highway and hear the highway noise. For such a sturdy looking hotel, the walls are paper thin...you can hear people very easily next store and above you walking.
Our family stayed the night here in one of their suites with a gift certificate we received. The walk in shower was spacious, the king size bed was beyond comfortable, and the little amenities, like the fact the refrigerator was already cold, and the great soaps, lotions were wonderful. Their pool and hot tub were just the right temperature, and in a lovely atmosphere.
Customer service, from check in to check out was staffed by highly qualified and helpful employees.
We were upgraded to the delicious, well appointed continental breakfast.
We very much enjoyed our short stay, we’ll be back again.
I won a 2 night stay in a suite here at a fundraiser auction and we decided to use our certificate over Labor Day long weekend. Because this was a hotel comp, I was expecting there to be black out dates especially on holiday weekends, but I'm happy to say there wasn't. When I went to make the reservation I was told that as long as a room was available, we could come whenever we wanted... so Labor Day it was. We were given a suite on the first floor. The room had a mini kitchenette with fridge and microwave (but no dishes or silverware which I found strange), a living room with a leather couch and big screen TV, and a patio. Separating that section via a sliding door was a king sized bed (very comfortable and lots of pillows!) with another large TV, and a bathroom with a whirlpool tub and huge shower. Upon check in, we noticed the light above the whirlpool was flickering and the light above the toilet was burned out. A quick call down to the front desk and a maintenance person was at our room with replacements within 10 - 15 minutes. I was impressed with how quickly they responded. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and loved everything about the hotel. They have a nice indoor pool with plenty of lounge chairs which I took advantage of. All the staff we encountered were friendly and easygoing. I especially loved the fact they have a coffee machine at the front desk that makes fancy coffees and hot chocolate all free of charge. The onsite restaurant Hudson's is highly recommended as well. We dined here and loved the experience and food (but that's a separate review). The hotel is in a strange location (in the middle of a business park next to a busy freeway) but they do a great job of making you forget that with all of their tall trees for privacy and the large wooden logs that make up the lodge. There is a nice sitting area right outside the front doors. At one point we went to sit out there and my hubby thought he was going to be kind of turned off by it because it overlooks the parking lot but thanks to some beautiful greenery and a koi fish pond it turned out to be very relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel is within walking distance of the Vancouver Mall which has a movie theater and there are many other restaurants around the hotel's vicinity which is a nice plus. We are local to the area and even though we just live across town, we checked out of the hotel feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
