How to Get There
A perfect get away! Whether it’s for business or pleasure (or both) is nothing less than wonderful! One of my favorite things about Skamania is the consistency. I have been coming here for years because nothing else could even compare. From the location, to the stunning views, a lovely staff, and comforting accommodations you can’t go wrong. It seems that every year this place has new improvements and keeps up with maintaining excellent customer service. Pro tip: if you stay here on a busy night and you’re looking to have dinner in the comfort of your room, order room service, it’s exceptional! Also you may get lucky and meet Joseph one of the lodges kindest and most efficient members! Also happy to see a resort step up their sustainability practices. All around this place is a 10/10! Don’t get me started on the late night/early morning outdoor hot tub treatment! Here’s a just a couple pics of my favorite moments captured at skamania lodge :)
Breakfast included would have been nice. River Rock closed on weekdays so you had only the dining room or room service. A coffee kiosk would have been nice. There was one with awful coffee. The coffee in the rooms was like hot water with a little coffee flavor. There wasn't nearly enough coffee in those pods.
Clean, peaceful, wish the spa rooms had a separate area from the pool so you could relax without listening to everyone yelling in the hallways. The spa area felt like more of an after thought. The trails were nice around the area.
My husband and I went away for the night. We hiked the orange loop, visited the outdoor whirlpool, golfer 9 holes and had a wonderful time. Wish there were more dining/menu options while staying there.
We LOVED our time at Skamania Lodge! We had the privilege of staying in the treehouses. They were beautiful, private, quiet, peaceful and we loved the fireplace. The food was excellent and the personalized service we received all over the Lodge made our stay just that much more wonderful. These are some of the most friendly and attentive people I've ever met. We will definitely be back.
