How to Get There
Hubby & I stayed one night during spring break for something different to do but close to home. We're not really gamblers so didn't use Casino but still had to endure the smoke you smell at the front entrance & then walking thru to restaurants. Closer to the hotel it isn't an issue. Our King room was very nice-roomy & well decorated. Nice Keurig setup.Good lighting & a full length mirror yay! Decent amount of hooks & towels in bathroom. The bed & sheets were probably the most comfortable of any hotel we've ever stayed in! You also will never want to get out of the shower. Noise wasn't bad-heard a few kids and slamming doors but luckily not too late. Be careful of your main door..you really need to pull it to make sure it's closed all the way. Good drink & shareables at Riverbank Taphouse. Windfall is a very cool shop to browse. Did the Dinner & Movie which was fun. Service was good everywhere.
Our family drive the 4 hours to Spokane from BC and always enjoy our stay at the Northern Quest, the rooms are nothing less than 5 star, great perks, great venues and an absolutely wonderful Casino, whether you win or lose you will be glad you stayed here
Went to Northern Quest Casino this past weekend with the wife and had a great time. Started at the Epic Bar and had a very nice meal, then headed to the Roulette Tables and managed to walk away a few hundred dollars richer. We always have a great time here and shortly their RV park will be open and we plan on attending a concert with our Camper. Looking forward to Summer!
I have been a customer at the Quest for several years and have enjoyed many stays at the resort. The implementation of the new reward system has been a continuous hassle from day one. From complimentary rooms we moved to "preferred rates" even though our gaming habits did not seem to change. Several times it was necessary to change my card because I wasn't slamming it into the machine with enough force. Apparently my activity for the past three months did not register completely or was misdirected as I am no longer eligible for even the preferred rate.
Aside from a condescending remark about providing a tutorial on how to use my card, the representatives I spoke to refuse to acknowledge that there might be a systemic problem. Its a great hotel but the "new and improved" Camas Club system is unreliable at best.
I will start by saying that I am a non-smoker. Northern Quest Resort & Casino was built for smokers!. If you love to breathe in second hand smoke and have your cloths and hair smell like smoke, this is your place. The smoking area is HUGE in the casino and the non-smoking is located in a small room but there is a sliding door that opens up to the smoking area so smoke comes in. The best is that in order to access the Kid Arcade (which is a joke), Gift Shop, casual restaurants or Pavilion, you must walk thru the smoking area.
The escalators take you upstairs to to the hotel where signs indicate that smoking is not allowed. Smoking is also not allowed in the rooms or there is a fine. They must give out a lot of fines. The hotel does smell like smoke. It's not as bad as the casino, but you can smell it. So if you do not have any issues with smoking, this place is for you!
On another note, the staff did not seem to be too informed & frustrated. Pretty much any question we asked was answered with, " Check the website or I don't know, they don't tell us anything."
Overall very disappointing and we will not return again.
