How to Get There
Absolutely the most amazing room I have stayed in to date. We had a 1 bedroom suite. I could have lived in this room and never left. The shower in our room and the showrr in everyones in all our group were dream about showers. They have the overhead , the body length, and the standard hand held all in a beautiful tiled glass enclosure about 5x6 with a programmable menu for water and pressure. The bathroom was about the same size as an average bedroom 10x12 possibly larger. It has 2 long counters with sinks, a jetted tub, lighted mirrors and of course a toilet. Bedroom has walk in closet with dressing table, a separate very ample counter area with open space below, a huge dresser that has a hidden refrigerator, wall windows floor to ceiling that cover 2 walls, bedroom was about 15x20, Separate livingroom divided by a door was size of a large hotel room having a fold out bed couch, 2 comfortable chairs, a wet bar, a entertainment console, a hide away refrigerator, and a huge square ottoman. In the entry area is a half bath with toilet and sink. Very clean and very very comfortable.
Now the bad... we had a very large group staying at the hotel for a wedding in area. Problem is some of the reservations were dropped because duplicate name on reservations. Even though the were paid for in full. My sister in laws was told her room was considered a no show the prior month 1 week prior to her booking it which makes no sense. IE she booked room on June 27 2019 but room show a no show on booking 10 days prior to that of June 17 2019. She presented her receipt to concierge showing date booked on lune paid in full. There was nothing he could do. His actual response was " well sorry but you were a no show I don't care what your receipt shows." We asked if we could just pay for a room for the night for her he didn't even look at available or not and said "nope nothing available." We asked can you check to see if there is anything in close by area ? He said "go for it. You do have a cell phone dont you?" We asked can she stay in our room we have a fold out couch? His response " I dont care what you decide to do it is none of my business " We asked ok so can we get some linens for the bed? He responded " there is a Walmart a block down the street" I am appalled we had to buy a set of sheets for their fold out bed so my sister in law could sleep in it. Btw she had also booked a suite (superior suite) at $380 a night but she was willing to stay in a much lesser room. Next item of bad customer relations ... I put a $20 in a penny machine but it didn't register. I told attendant that happen to be standing 2 feet away her response was "as stated on machines play at your own risk. We don't refund money " ok but not asking for refunds I just want my money credited so I could play. 3rd bad customer service issue ... on Friday evening we did not realize it was about 10 minutes before buffet was closing ( 8:52 ) our group of 13 was not told buffet was closing and paid to eat , got inside to find almost all food gone no more being put out for night. We asked if we could get refunded so we could go else where. Were told no None of us had eaten or even had water delivered to table yet. Not a chance. 3 of our group have severe seafood allergies we did not realize that everything and I do mean everything had seafood in it. There were no other options, no potatoes, no salad, no bread, no meats other than crab, no vegetables. Not a whole lot of food left out and not enough for our group to all eat. We paid for 5 of us to not get and food whatso ever. It did not occur to us that buffet would close at 9 am. The cashier could of said something and the waitstaff was very rude and snarky when we asked if there was any more food being put out or if something could be arranged so all of our group could have food. Response " oh well we are closed ,what do you expect "
Awesome showers in the hotel rooms, comfy beds & pillows. Love the spa, pool and hot tub. Lots of places to eat. Not a gambler, but always interesting to people watch. The Summer outdoor concerts are awesome, it’s a great venue. Amazing drinks, efficient lines and security. Easy to get concert tickets & free parking!
This is an excellent hotel. The scenery is non-existent but it’s a nice venue with quality rooms and packages. Our favorite is the Le Rive spa! It’s the best in the inter mountain region. One of its best options is the living couples massage with a 30 minute soak followed by a 30, 60, or 90 minute massage.
