W stay in Seattle with no view

I recently stayed at the W in seattle. I travel often and more often to Seattle. I am a Marriott person and decided to stay at the W for the first time over the other properties in Seattle. They said they upgraded my room. If that was an upgrade which stared at a parking lot then I need to switch to Hilton’s. I reached out to them to let them know this wasn’t an upgrade and if the view was better on the other send me back. It wasn’t as if my room had any upgrades. Overall, I was just disappointed. When I go to the other nicer Marriotts I am provided with an actual upgrade. The one positive was the bed was comfortable, Bluetooth speaker, and Nespresso machine.

We Would Go Back

The hotel was top notch. It was pleasant, rooms were new and comfortable. Lobby was inviting. We would go back. W is another great addition to the Marriott chain. the location. the W was very convenient. Easy to walk around and visit where we wanted.

Good Stay - Ridiculously Expensive Valet Price

Nice service, friendly staff, room was comfortable enough, however disappointed with the bathroom, the shower stall was way too slippery, (no mat) and terrible shower head.
The toilet is too low, uncomfortably so in fact.
Some of the Pillows were pancake flat. Bed was a bit lumpy too.
A/C is loud, and with no opening windows, you need to use the A/C.
Verdict - upgrades necessary
Now, onto the valet - are you kidding me??? $68.00 for an overnight??? If I could have backed out to park next door (5 feet away for $45.00 - trust me I would have.
No words!!!!
