How to Get There
We have stayed here multiple times and we love it. It's not the average hotel decor and/or atmosphere so staying here feels special. Everything you could want to visit is either a short walk or ride share trip away.
The hotel was very well kept, clean and had very cool original historic details. We were in the king bedroom with whirlpool bath and it was a great room, very quiet for being right in the city. The little details make this place an incredible experience. The location was also great and walkable to the downtown core area.
We've stayed here before because it's a unique and historic hotel near Pioneer Square and Century Link Field. While the rooms are large and comfortably appointed, there aren't alot of extras. There's no coffee - in the room or otherwise - so be prepared to hit the streets for Seattle's ubiquitous coffee shops. The bathroom in particular needed attention. The fixtures seemed dated and had issues: the cold water handle on the sink wouldn't shut off completely, so it dripped incessantly. We told the front desk twice about it. They may have sent Maintenance up, but it never quit dripping (and wasting water). The shower, too, had water issues: you have to turn the hot water all the way on and then barely add any cold to get it to a proper temp. And the dial to turn the shower head on (from the tub spout) similarly had to be turned multiple times to get it to transfer to the shower. And the toilet tank cover didn't fit right and kept sliding off the tank and into the wall. I share the detail so perhaps the hotel will take note. The bed was comfortable and the linens were great. Overall we had a nice stay and were close to the stadium for the Seahawks game. This was our second time here, but we might look elsewhere next time.
Great hotels with a classy vibe. The lobby has a scotch bar which is super awesome! Everything about this hotel is classy and makes you feel like you are worth a million bucks! Highly recommend it! Perfect choice
