How to Get There
We arrived after a long day of traveling with only about 6 hours to rest before our next flight. The shuttle picked us up at the airport in a timely fashion, the front desk staff was lovely, and our room was very comfortable. Free coffee is in the lobby starting at 3am, and it was by far the BEST hotel lobby coffee I've ever had! We will definitely stay here again if we have a long layover.
We have stayed at this location many times, both arriving on a flight or driving in from out of town.
The staff is always exceptional. Friendly, accommodating, and willing to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as they can. They definitely get props for customer service.
On our last visit (6/19), there was some heavy construction in the atrium area. We knew this in advance as the booking website very plainly mentioned that there could be some noise for rooms that face the atrium. Wasn't a problem.
The rooms were updated a while back and have a very modern, industrial look to them. No carpets in the rooms, which seems to be a trend for newer rooms in many hotels. Not a fan of that as a bare floor just doesn't convey a sense of coziness or comfort.
The bathrooms use a non-latching sliding barn door. Noisy. Very noisy.
The walls in the shower are frosted glass, including the wall that faces the bed area. There's only implied privacy with these types of designs, and if you're sharing the room with someone, it can be awkward.
There are no safes in the rooms that we have stayed in at this hotel. I don't know if that's for the entire hotel or not, but it proved to be a problem for us. We have had our room pilfered at other hotel locations in the past, so no safe means we schlep our laptops and cameras with us, even if we're having a meal in the hotel restaurant. To us, that's a minimal requirement for a business hotel.
Rooms are renovated and are pleasant
Location and airport shuttle is very convenient.
Down side the breakfast who is less then basic actually poor poor poor!
No mariott standard at all.
Had dinner and that was correct.
The room is beautiful and I happen to think the glass wall to the bathroom is modern and sleek. The decor and bed were awesome. The problem is the paper thin walls. I can here the room next door sneeze, cough, fart and the tv. I called to the desk twice and eventually had to knock on the walls myself. I don’t want to hear everything going on in the next room. I’ve stayed at thousands of hotels and mostly Marriotts but this is the worst noise I’ve ever had at a Marriott. Hopefully the coffee will wake me up.
My husband travels a lot for work and has ambassador elite status so we stay at Marriotts all the time. I’ve never had any issues but I really dislike this Marriott. Although it is modern looking in rooms that is not always better. The bathroom has opaque walls so if someone is in there the light shines through to the room. He kept me awake at night when getting ready for bed and I woke him up in morning when I got up! The light filled the room! Plus the shower has a motion detector light of some sort and kept flicking on and off while I was getting ready which was really bothering him. The towels are very thin and I had wished I had more than one but they only provided two towels. The in room coffee was horrible and they left two creamers only. Yes we could have asked for more, which we did, but never got. I went to concierge lounge to get more coffee and creamer and it was closed. This is the first Marriott that I have been to that we couldn’t get in the lounge at any time. Luckily they had coffee down in the lobby. The bed was not comfortable. I woke up with my back killing me. The doors are incredibly loud when they close and this kept us awake as well. We had the air down to 65 but the room never really cooled off. The room was definitely clean and staff was kind and helpful but we would not stay here again. If you can’t sleep what is the point of how modern it looks? This picture I have attached is shower how bright the light is from the “wall” of the bathroom.
