How to Get There
We stayed at Motif for 4 nights.
Breakfast was good. The room was comfortable.
The staff on the front desk try to be helpful but many of them are trainees.
I noticed that a charge had been put through on my credit card and when I queried it with the front desk they couldn’t explain it. The best they could offer was that it was a preauthorisation for incidentals, which would be released when we settled the bill. Well I settled the bill over 4 weeks ago - the front desk couldn’t see the other charge anywhere on their system and I’m still waiting for the charge to be refunded and an explanation.
I suggest you check your credit card charges carefully as I am over USD100 out of pocket!
Very modern hotel in a great location! A walking distance to almost every location. Near Pike Market and Starbucks Reserve as well as many famous stores and the Convention Center. Good service room and very helpful front desk. The parking fee is very high ($45.00), but it seems to be a main issue in the whole area. The hotel was beyond all our expectations.
The Motif has accommodated us throughout our stay. We arrived a day ahead of our cruise and got checked in way before check in time. We were told that when we return our luggage would be kept in a locked room until our rooms were ready. This is what we expected and that is what happened. The Associate took our names and phone numbers to ensure that we may be reached in order to do an early check in. We were able to go get a bit to eat at a coffee and bakery across the street. We were able to sit by a fire pit and admire a nice view of the Pub patio filled with colorful greenery. The rooms are spacious and modern. The onsite restaurant is nice but it's for a much younger crowd. The restaurant has a very nice large patio with bar and two at least 10 foot fire tables. Great location downtown and many options for shopping and eateries. This hotel accommodates travelers going on Cruises transportation to the pier is the best I have seen.
Very nice and clean hotel gave us wine in the evening. Short distance to town and tram. Very nice staff and great bar on the 5th floor with nice view. Resturaunt attached with great food and drinks. My family enjoyed this hotel
We stayed for a weekend in the Motif Seattle. The location is great -- walking distance to the Light Link Rail just two blocks away, which takes you to and from the airport for $3 (adult) and $1.50 (child under 18 yrs). There's a great coffee shop across the street with a wonderful bakery. But the hotel is expensive. You can get a room for under $300/night, but we paid a bit over that for a room with two queen-size beds. Rooms have decent sound proofing, quiet air conditioning, and the usual amenities. But you will pay an amenities fee of something like $50/night plus tax. Do not expect a "complementary breakfast" here. There is a passable restaurant on the fifth floor with a happy hour from 3-5 pm, but there are much better eateries nearby like the Palomeno just across the street -- also expensive, but very, very good.
